The Knowledge & Insights team conducts research studies in the non-profit sector, investigating trends and uncovering insights around volunteering and philanthropy. The team aims to be the subject matter expert in the giving space, providing robust research evidence to support strategic planning of NVPC and the sector.

Project Overview: The intern will contribute to the Corporate Engagement Impact Evaluation Series, a strategic research initiative that seeks to systematically measure, evaluate and articulate the effectiveness of NVPC's programmes and engagement strategies. These efforts are aimed at refining existing strategies and strengthening programmes, to encourage and facilitate corporate participation across volunteering, philanthropy, and broader sustainability domains.

Through this series, the intern will support the translation of complex programme outcomes into clear indicators of social and business value. The work contributes to advancing thought leadership in corporate purpose and responsible business practices, while supporting data-driven programme design and continuous improvement.

By participating in this initiative, the intern will gain hands-on exposure to applied social research and impact evaluation, learning how evidence and insights are generated to drive meaningful, sustained engagement within the corporate sector, in alignment with national priorities and the broader social impact ecosystem.

Data Entry and Analysis

• ⁠Support in critical tracking and measurement metrics related to campaign objectives, goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Collating database of point-of-contacts of charity personnel

Stakeholder Management

This internship supports foundational work that strengthens facilities governance, preventive maintenance planning, and sustainability readiness across our buildings. The intern will help build clearer visibility of property information, improve documentation practices, and support coordination, so the core Property team can focus on professional judgement and decisions.

1) Property Information Consolidation & Mapping

• Consolidate building-related information (e.g., drawings, basic layouts, title deeds, confirmed area sizes) into a structured repository.
• Create a simple indexing and naming convention for easy retrieval (e.g., by site/building/floor/system).

2) Preventive Maintenance & SOP Documentation Support

• Help draft simple templates/checklists that enable consistent maintenance documentation across sites.

3) ISO, Sustainability & ESG Readiness Support

• Assist with documentation and coordination related to ISO 14001 (Environmental) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) readiness.
• Support sustainability-focused documentation (e.g., materials considerations, basic carbon footprint awareness, vendor specification references for eco-friendlier practices).
• Help compile an initial checklist of sustainability/ESG considerations relevant to facilities management and vendor engagements.

4) Stakeholder Coordination & Site Observations

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (across regions where required) to gather information and validate documentation.
• Support site observations to capture practical considerations (e.g., lighting, layout, safety) especially in care-related environments.
• Prepare short visit notes and follow-up trackers to support alignment and close-outs.

• Preferably Undergraduate in Facilities Management, Building, Engineering, Architecture, Property, or related fields
• Strong organisational and documentation skills
• Comfortable with MS Office and basic digital tools (drawing/mapping tools a plus)
• Knowledge in Building Information Modelling (BIM)
• Detail-oriented with ability to structure information clearly
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Willingness to conduct site observations and hands-on learning
• Interest in facilities operations, sustainability, and building systems

Job Role Summary:

As a Talent Attraction Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the recruitment and onboarding processes at NTUC Health. This internship offers the opportunity to contribute to data-driven HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, organize, and analyse recruitment and attrition data using SQL and Google Apps Script.
• Maintain and update HR records, databases, and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Develop and maintain a consolidated dashboard to track key talent metrics.
• Collaborate with various HR teams on cross-functional projects.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

You are:

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proficient in SQL and Google Apps Script, with the ability to clean datasets and build dashboards.
• Comfortable working with Google Suite applications (e.g., Sheets, Docs, Slides).
• A team player with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, proactive, and eager to learn.
