Guest Relations Manager will be responsible for effectively and efficiently manage guestand customer inquiries and ensure all guests are recognized and welcomed anddeliver the highest possible standards of service and being pro-active inmaintaining and/or improving turnover.
Day to day Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the entireGuest Relations department procedures and processes.
- Ensure that Guest Relationdepartment are working aligned with established procedures and processes tosustain consistency.
- To ensure all telephonecalls are handled politely, timely and efficiently. Ascertaining and accuratelymeeting the caller’s needs.
- Ensure consistentcommunication from the department to the Manager on duty. In that all customerrequests and feedback are responded to promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure constant deliveryof excellent customer service
- Increase repeat businessthrough relationship building and interaction.
- Actively seekopportunities to increase revenue.
- Understand the competitivemarketplace through analysis of trends and data and build strategic approach tomanage trends.
- To communicate and trackreservations and special requests made by the guests, coordinating with therelevant departments head to ensure seamless execution
- Responsible on daily tasksof Hostess/Host and Reservation.
- Responsible for the dailytable reservations & allocations.
- Review booked reservationsand arrival reports daily.
- Ensure smoothcommunication in regard to bookings and occupancy.
- Performs other dutiespertinent to this job as assigned.
Technical Skills
- Strong computer literacy,particularly in Microsoft Office and Windows applications.
- Experience with restaurantPOS systems, reservation platforms, and operational managementsystems.
Knowledge, Skills, andExperience
- Minimum 3 - 4 years ofsimilar experience within a high-end, high-volume restaurant bar or luxuryhospitality environment.
- Prior experience in SevenRooms system will be an added advantage
- Fluent in English andexcellent communication and management skills
- Excellent planning and budgetary skills
- Good business awarenessincluding external markets and competitor positions
- Prior experience in nightlife or high-volume restaurants
- Able to work in fast-paced environments and require to commit to shifts that extend up to midnight and weekends.
