The Role

As an Associate Director ICT Consultant at AECOM, you will have expert technical knowledge in developing detailed design solutions with proven experience in the delivery of a range of exciting Information Communications Technology projects.

In this role you can expect to:

• Support the regional and national ICT consulting team on a diverse range of opportunities and projects
• Manage project stakeholder engagement, technology road-mapping, briefing and sign off
• Lead on business development opportunities and tenders
• Lead and mentor junior members of the ICT team

• Undertake design related activities across a range of systems, including systems architecture, interoperability and deployment planning;
  • ICT design including but not limited to cloud, identity and access management, server and storage, integrated networking, Wi-Fi, endpoint devices, and structured cabling systems
  • Security systems, including CCTV, Electronic Access Control, intruder alarm, perimeter intrusion detection, and Type 1A Security Alarm Systems
  • Clinical and non-clinical healthcare applications, including nurse call, point of care, patient entertainment, facility messaging, wireless handsets, mobile duress, RTLS, and patient systems
  • Oversight of audio-visual systems including IPTV, video and telepresence environments, collaboration systems, PAVA and digital signage
• Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and partner with internal and external clients and stakeholders;
• Participate in site investigations and utilise strong report writing and verbal communication skills.

Job Description

• Lead and manage medium to large-sized electrical engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
• Develop and oversee electrical system designs, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with other building components
• Prepare detailed project specifications, cost estimates, and design programs
• Manage project finances and resources to meet agreed-upon deliverables within budget
• Conduct quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their professional development
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project requirements and progress
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and relevant codes and standards
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our electrical engineering practices and methodologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a proven track record in design and project management
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards, including local Singapore regulations
• Proficiency in electrical design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar tools
• Experience with BIM software packages and their application in electrical design
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage resources, timelines, and budgets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements

Role Purpose / Summary

The Aviation Program Director provides senior leadership and strategic oversight for the successful delivery of large and very large aviation programmes of significant strategic value. These programmes may include airport development, terminal expansion or revitalisation, airside and landside infrastructure, aviation systems, and enabling utilities delivered within live operational environments.

The role has been established to strengthen leadership readiness for critical Aviation pursuits and to support long-term succession planning for our active programs, ensuring experienced program leadership is in place to transition seamlessly from pursuit through delivery.

The role sets the overall direction for the programme, establishing the governance structures, delivery environment, and management systems required to achieve client, passenger, and operational outcomes. Acting as the primary leader for programme-wide integration and performance, the Aviation Program Director oversees functional leads across all aspects of delivery to ensure coordinated, safe, compliant, and efficient execution. The role promotes innovation, digital integration, and sustainability while fostering a collaborative, high-performing, and safety-led culture. The Director also contributes to talent development, capability building, and organisational knowledge sharing within the aviation sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership and strategic direction across the full aviation programme lifecycle, ensuring alignment with airport operator objectives, airline and passenger needs, regulatory requirements, and organisational priorities.
• Establish and maintain robust programme governance frameworks to enable effective decision-making, assurance, and executive oversight in safety-critical aviation environments.
• Direct and integrate senior delivery leaders accountable for technical, commercial, operational readiness, stakeholder, and systems delivery across the programme.
• Lead programme initiation and mobilisation activities, including delivery strategy development, staging and phasing planning, and the implementation of programme systems, controls, and tools.
• Oversee programme-wide compliance with aviation safety, security, quality, environmental, and technical standards, including applicable national and international aviation regulations.
• Manage key relationships with airport authorities, airlines, regulators, operators, delivery partners, suppliers, and internal business leaders, acting as the principal point of contact for the programme.
