Role Summary

This role sits within the FIBD team and is responsible for managing key financial institution partnerships in Thailand, supporting merchant-related initiatives, and improving partnership performance across cost, payment success rate, and operational effectiveness.

The role requires close coordination with financial institutions, regional stakeholders, and internal teams to support complex merchant needs, especially for strategic accounts and cross-border business.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Institution Partnership Management

• Manage relationships with key financial institutions and payment partners in Thailand
• Drive partnership performance with focus on:
• payment cost optimization
• payment success rate improvement
• channel stability and operational effectiveness
• Manage merchant onboarding with financial institutions, including key setup items such as MID acquisition, pricing alignment, and onboarding readiness
• Lead regular partner reviews and QBRs, including performance tracking, issue follow-up, and action planning
• Support negotiations on pricing, rebates, routing, and partnership improvements
• Work with internal teams and external partners to resolve payment issues and maintain strong service quality

Alibaba Merchant PIC Coordination with Regional FIBD

• Partner with Regional FIBD to support Alibaba intra-group merchants from the Thailand side
• Act as a key local coordination point for merchant PICs, translating merchant needs into clear internal actions and partner engagement plans
• Support complex merchant initiatives, including card installment expansion, payment optimization, new solution requests, and cross-border business needs
• Coordinate closely with External FI Partners, Product, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Tech to ensure timely and structured execution

A+ Partner Management for Antom Cross-border Merchants

• Manage strategic A+ payment institution relationships supporting Antom’s cross-border merchant business in Thailand
• Work closely with partners such as TrueMoney, LINE Pay, KBank, and other key institutions to improve merchant outcomes and partnership effectiveness
• Drive collaboration on onboarding, performance improvement, issue escalation, acceptance expansion, and solution enablement
• Ensure partner readiness, responsiveness, and performance meet the needs of Antom’s cross-border merchants

Cross-functional Coordination and Governance

• Work closely with BD, Product, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Tech teams to support payment initiatives and partner issues
• Drive structured follow-up on issues affecting merchant performance, payment economics, or partner delivery
• Support internal governance, reporting, and OKR tracking across partnership priorities

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• 5 – 7 years of relevant experience in partnerships, banking, fintech, payments, or related financial services
• Strong understanding of payment and financial institution products, with the ability to navigate complex partner setups and merchant requirements
• Deep understanding of fund flows, especially cross-border fund flows, settlement logic, and their commercial implications
• Strong experience in partnership management, commercial coordination, and performance-driven stakeholder engagement
• Ability to manage complex merchant and partner needs with strong execution discipline
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn payment performance data into actionable insights
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage confidently with C-level stakeholders
• Comfortable working across local, regional, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent in English and Thai; Chinese is a plus

We are looking for a strong commercial leader to drive our Enterprise Acquiring business in Thailand. This role will lead a team of Business Development managers to win new business, deepen strategic merchant relationships, and shape industry-specific payment solutions across priority sectors such as e-commerce, insurance, retail, and other high-potential enterprise verticals.

In addition to leading business development, this role will also oversee the Sales Operations function supporting the enterprise business, ensuring scalable processes, strong execution discipline, and high-quality commercial delivery from opportunity development through post-launch account growth.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who combines commercial drive, people leadership, customer-centric solutioning, and operating rigor to build a stronger and more scalable enterprise acquiring business in Thailand.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development and Commercial Growth

• Lead the Thailand Enterprise Acquiring business to deliver sustainable growth across Revenue, Net Revenue, and TPV
• Hunt and close new enterprise deals in targeted sectors including e-commerce, insurance, retail, and other relevant verticals
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities through market mapping, relationship development, and lead generation
• Develop clear account strategies for strategic prospects and key merchants
• Lead complex commercial negotiations and structure win-win solutions for enterprise clients

Existing Merchant Growth and Account Development

• Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the existing merchant portfolio
• Deepen merchant relationships by introducing broader payment and ecosystem solutions
• Serve as a senior commercial partner to strategic merchants, including direct engagement with C-level stakeholders
• Improve merchant retention, account responsiveness, and long-term commercial value

Sales Operations Leadership

• Lead the Sales Operations team supporting the enterprise business
• Establish, standardize, and continuously improve the end-to-end sales process, including process governance, SOPs, SLAs, and commercial handoff discipline
• Strengthen execution visibility, operating rigor, and service consistency across the commercial journey, from opportunity development through post-launch support
• Drive strong cross-functional collaboration across business, product, operations, finance, legal, risk, and technology teams

Industry Solution Development

• Identify sector-specific customer needs, pain points, and payment opportunities in focus industries
• Partner with product and internal stakeholders to shape industry-tailored acquiring and payment solutions
• Translate merchant needs into practical commercial offerings and solution strategies
• Strengthen the company’s positioning as a trusted enterprise payment partner in targeted sectors

Team Leadership and Capability Building

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Business Development managers
• Set clear goals, operating cadence, and performance expectations for the team
• Build strong commercial discipline in pipeline management, opportunity conversion, and account development

• 7–10 years of relevant experience in enterprise sales, business development, commercial leadership, or account management, ideally within payments, fintech, financial services, or adjacent industries

• Strong understanding of the enterprise payments landscape, with the ability to connect merchant needs, acquiring capabilities, and solution value into compelling client propositions
• Good grasp of the broader financial and commerce ecosystem surrounding payments, and the ability to identify adjacent opportunities that strengthen merchant value propositions and deepen strategic relationships
• Demonstrated success in building commercial momentum in the Thailand market, with the ability to originate opportunities, navigate complex organizations, and convert enterprise relationships into business outcomes
• Relevant exposure to sectors such as e-commerce, insurance, retail, or other enterprise verticals is strongly preferred
• Proven ability to engage, influence, and negotiate effectively with senior client stakeholders, including C-level executives
• Strong leadership track record, with experience leading teams, raising performance standards, and delivering results through others rather than as a standalone individual contributor
• Ability to bring together commercial strategy and execution discipline, including sales process design, cross-functional coordination, and operational follow-through

The BI team is responsible for design, developing, and maintaining data models, dashboards, reports and analytical tools to support business decision-making. The role involves data preparation, ETL process development, and automation of data workflows to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Engineering & Pipeline Development
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources to the target data warehouse, data Lakehouse
• Collaborate with the internal team to align on data sources, business definitions, and functional logic updates
• Ensure data used in dashboards/reports is accurate, complete,  up-to-date, and consistency across platforms
2. Dashboards & Reporting
• Develop dashboards and reports (AWS QuickSight, SQL Reporting Server) for management, product, finance, and BD teams.
• Develop an automated report for internal and external use
• Perform deep-dive analysis on transaction trends, payment success rates, and revenue leakage.
• Support ad-hoc analyses to answer critical business questions from management and the internal team
3. Governance & Compliance
• Implement data classification, access controls, and row-level security (RLS) by country or product.
• Align data structures with business needs.

• Strong SQL skills (complex queries, optimization in Redshift, Athena, Databricks Spark SQL).
• Strong in Python for data cleaning, automation, and exploratory data analysis(EDA)
• Experience with BI tools (AWS QuickSight, SQL Reporting Services)
• Experience in Big Data using Databricks, Spark for big data processing
• Experience in Data Warehouse, Data Lakehouse, ETL and BI tools
• Strong problem-solving, business analysis, and communication skills
