About the Project

New Hope Community Services is undertaking Singapore's first Housing Sustainability Research Study under the Integrated Housing Reintegration Programme (IHRP). The Research Assistant will support participant recruitment, data collection, programme monitoring, database management and research administration.

Duration

• 10-Month Contract (July 2026 – April 2027)
• Extendable subject to project needs and funding.

Key Responsibilities

Research Coordination

• Support implementation of the IHRP Housing Sustainability Study across SRSF and JSS-OR sites.
• Coordinate participant recruitment, onboarding and assessment scheduling.
• Maintain participant tracking logs and follow-up schedules.
• Support participant incentive disbursement and documentation.

Data Collection & Assessment Administration

• Administer Housing Sustainability Risk Assessments and Quality of Life surveys.
• Conduct baseline and follow-up assessments according to study protocol.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of assessment forms.
• Liaise with staff to coordinate assessment appointments.

Database & Data Management

• Maintain research databases and participant records.
• Perform data entry, verification and cleaning.
• Conduct routine quality assurance checks.
• Ensure compliance with confidentiality and governance requirements.

Programme Monitoring & Research Support

• Track programme enrolment and participation.
• Monitor intervention attendance and completion rates.
• Support literature reviews, descriptive statistics and data summaries.
• Assist with interim reports, presentations, and publications.

Administrative Support

• Coordinate meetings and stakeholder engagements.
• Maintain study documentation and filing systems.
• Support project logistics and procurement.
• Perform other project-related duties assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Public Health, Statistics or related disciplines.
• Experience in research, programme evaluation or data management preferred.
• Strong organisational, communication and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SPSS/R/NVivo familiarity advantageous.

Expected Deliverables

• Recruit approximately 70 study participants.

Responsibilities:

·        Analyse, design, develop, implement, and support Equities Trading systems within a Banking and Finance environment.

·        Participate in end‑to‑end system solution delivery, including:

o   Business and technical requirement analysis

o   Functional and technical design

o   System integration and interfacing

o   Development and configuration

o   Unit testing, SIT, UAT, and production deployment

o   Post‑implementation and production support

·        Design, implement, and support FIX protocol based interfaces for order routing, execution, and trade processing.

·        Implement and support message‑driven architectures using Message Queue (MQ) platforms for internal and external system integration.

·        Provide hands‑on support for systems running on Oracle databases and Linux/Unix platforms.

·        Support equities trading functions including order management, executions, trade capture, confirmations, and downstream settlement feeds.

·        Work closely with business users, application vendors, project managers, and infrastructure teams to deliver stable and scalable solutions.

·        Perform production support, troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and performance tuning for trading systems.

·        Ensure all solutions comply with security, risk, regulatory, and architectural standards.

·        Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and handover materials.

Requirements:

.Education

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

·        Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Banking & Financial Services IT.

·        Proven experience in implementing and supporting Equities Trading systems in a front‑office or market technology environment.

·        Strong experience with FIX Protocol (e.g. FIX 4.x / FIX 5.x) for trading and market connectivity.

• Strong technical and platform expertise in Equity/FX trading systems, market data platforms, SaaS/cloud implementations, and mobile application development.
• Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle, Windows, Linux, shell scripting, messaging queues, JBoss, Apache, Tomcat, Java, J2EE, JSP/Servlets, FIX messaging, CORBA, React Native, iOS/Android deployment, DevOps tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket), and scheduling tools (Control-M).
• Skilled in setting up applications within newly provisioned environments, including network, storage, agents, databases, Aldon, Control-M, Splunk, Geneos, and other monitoring tools. 

·        Hands‑on experience with Message Queue (MQ) technologies for system integration.

·        Solid working experience with Oracle databases (SQL, performance tuning, data analysis).

·        Strong exposure to Linux / Unix environments, including shell scripting.

Essential Skills & Competencies

·        Strong understanding of the equities trading lifecycle and capital markets operations.

Assists the contract manager in providing elective support to project management teams by ensuring that the contracts are administered in accordance with contractual obligations and eìective cost management strategies;

· Follows through with the landlord on refund of ít out deposit

1. Assists Project Manager in the co-ordination of project management activities to ensure that projects are executed in a smooth and effective manner;

· Inspect site to ensure all facilities and equipment relevant to the maintenance of environmental health are in proper working conditions and do not pose any environmental health hazard.

14. Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing employment contracts, conducting orientation sessions, IR21 and clearance;

15. Manage day – to -day HR activities, including maintaining employee records and preparing hr related documents

Job Requirements:

- At least 2 years' related HR experience

- Proficient in Employee Act and HR practices

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate deployment of workers to construction sites based on project timelines and manpower needs.

• Track daily attendance, working hours, and movement of workers across sites. (liaise with HR)

• Manage and update manpower records and reports regularly (including daily/weekly/monthly reports).

• Coordinate with HR for recruitment, work permit applications, renewals, and cancellations.

• Support worker welfare and handle worker-related issues, grievances, and disciplinary matters.

• Assist in arranging accommodation, transport, and other logistics for workers when required.

• Visits work site or dormitory when needed, including at night if necessary.

1. Responsible for production of shop drawings and detailed construction issues;
2. In charge of all drawing development required by the project;
3. Prepares detailed as-built/shop drawings for submission and interior fit-out works/construction;
4. Prepares drawings accurately from oral instructions, rough sketches and notes, calculations, dimensions for construction or building works;
5. Maintains, updates and makes amendments to drawings as needed;
6. Performs site checking to ensure proper dimension, connection and detail for fabrication;
7. Analyses and interprets changes to drawings;
8. Ensures the drawings comply with specifications and company standards;
9. Understands the project scope and requirements in the preparation of detailed shop drawings ensuring that the drawings are easily understood by the project teams;
10. Ensures the proper indexing, filing and storage of drawings in both hardcopy and electronic media;
