Chronic Hepatitis B (CHB) remains a major global health challenge, and functional cure, defined by HBsAg loss and immune restoration , is rarely achieved.

Our multidisciplinary program integrates clinical cohorts with mechanistic laboratory studies to uncover how hepatocytes transition from a pro-viral tolerant state to an immune-reactive flare state that precedes viral clearance.
This program is supported by longitudinal clinical datasets and paired liver biopsies, generating high-dimensional multi-omic data that require computational analysis to resolve intrahepatic immune and viral state transitions.

This research aims to identify molecular triggers and therapeutic targets that drive immune-mediated HBV flares, combining hepatocyte biology, RNA therapeutics, and spatial transcriptomics.

A major component of this work involves analysis of spatial transcriptomics and transcriptomic datasets to map cellular states, trajectories, and microenvironmental interactions associated with HBV flare and functional cure.

Key Responsibilities

Perform data analysis and computational workflows supporting the project.

Lead or support bioinformatics analyses including:

RNA-seq and spatial transcriptomics data processing
Dimensionality reduction (PCA, PHATE, diffusion maps)

Trajectory and state-transition analysis

•    Timber/Bamboo Grading and lamellar strength determination/classifications guidelines
•    Range of product sizes and configurations and their respective design data/properties for Glulam / CLT / Laminated Bamboo Lumber (LBL)
•    Factory production control and audit practices / requirements
•    Assist in technical studies on the different timber and non-timber /MET products
•    Assist in preparing manuscripts for academic journal articles, filing of patents and/or conference presentations.
•    Assist PI and Co-PIs in general administrative management of the research project.

The AHCC Trials Group is acollaborative multi-national research network that spans the Asia Pacific andactively engages in a spectrum of prospective clinical and translation researchstudies that address unmet clinical needs of HCC.

Job Description:

The job is that of asenior research executive/assistant manager/manager managing projects within amature research program in HCC. This role is ideal for a motivated individualwho enjoys thinking and managing projects independently, but also as a teamplayer.

You will be part ofan active research enterprise management team that closely works with otherteams in clinical research coordination, wet laboratory research andbioinformatics. The Program encompasses a wide range of of biomedical researchfrom upstream and translational studies to prospective multi-site clinicalstudies. There will be opportunities to develop a deep understanding of thebiomedical ecosystem, and to work with key scientific opinion leaders, andpharmaceutical and biotech industry partners both locally and overseas. Youwill play a key role in the coordination, execution, and management of complexmulti-site research programs, while developing a strong network of academic,clinical, and industry contacts.

There will also beample opportunities for learning and publication.

Your ResponsibilitiesWill Include:

• Coordinating andengaging various internal and external stakeholders in the management ofmulti-institution and/or multi-national collaborations.
• Initiating andsupporting research activities including (but not limited to) research grantapplications, SOP development, and project budgeting.
• Provision ofnecessary resources that ensure compliance of regulatory/contractual documentsand smooth project operations.
• Organizing andpreparing materials for regular update meetings with collaborators.
• Providing a broadrange of high-level administrative support in planning, organizing and managingresearch-related events (meetings, conferences, seminars), as well as draftingand costing of new proposals.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degreein Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Public Health, Business, or equivalent;An honours degree or Master’s degree will be an advantage.
• Prior workexperience in biomedical research, clinical trials and/or project management inhealthcare, CRO or pharmaceutical organizations will be an advantage but is nota requirement
• Prior exposure toSingapore’s research and grant landscape will be an advantage.
• Excellentcommunication and writing skills.
• Proactiveindividual who has effective interpersonal skills and is able to workcollaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizationand attention to details.
• Ability to multi-task, and possess good time management.
• High proficiency inMS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

Primary Duties

i) Takeover of Site

• Attend handover inspection with Landlord/Client
• Ensure site readiness for commencement of works
• Report defects/non-compliances to PM (Project Manager) / Project Director (PD)

ii) Project Planning

• Study project schedule and plan site works for daily supervision/management

iii) Project Implementation

• Check and ensure all workers on site have valid work permits/ passes
• Ensure that works are carried out according to schedule or on target for completion
• Purchase and maintenance of materials

iv) Site Management

• Ensure workers adhere to safety rules
• Ensure proper code of conducts at worksite
• Maintain site in a safe and hygienic condition in compliance to statutory requirements
• Receive supplies and ensure proper storage on site

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Construction Management or equivilant
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in interior renovations / construction fields
• Effective supervision & coordination of workers/sub-contractor
• Good interpersonal skills
• Initiative and responsible
• Positive mindset with "can do attitude"
