About the Job

We are in search of a highly motivated and accomplished Research Assistant to join our team and significantly contribute to our ongoing research project "Understanding and Generating Interleaved Image-Text Persuasion". The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our research team, working on the development of multimodal AI. What You’ll Do

• Conduct literature reviews on multimodal persuasion, visual communication, and the evaluation of large vision-language models.
• Support the design and development of datasets and evaluation frameworks for understanding interactions between images and text.
• Assist in evaluating and enhancing multimodal models for analysing and generating interleaved image-text content
• Summarize experimental results and contribute to the preparation of research reports, presentations, and academic publications.

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor degree with background in computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, or a related field.
• Strong interest in multimodal AI, vision-language models.
• Basic experience with Python and machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch is preferred.
• Familiarity with natural language processing, computer vision, or large language models is an advantage.
• Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a research team.

Job Summary

You will support daily warehouse operations by receiving, checking, storing goods, picking and packing orders, maintaining stock accuracy, and ensuring a clean and safe warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods accurately to maintain inventory integrity
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders efficiently for timely delivery
• Organize stock systematically to ensure inventory accuracy and easy retrieval
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse environment
• Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting and carrying goods safely
• Work independently and responsibly to complete assigned warehouse duties

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Prior warehouse experience to enhance operational efficiency
• Able to understand and communicate in Chinese

· Lead and manage the team to execute operation requirements of the restaurant

Robotics Engineer / Research Engineer 

Our Robotics and Automation Research (ROAR) Laboratory at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) is a leading research group specializing in advanced robotic systems, including reconfigurable robotics and autonomous robotic platforms. The lab has contributed to significant intellectual outcomes, novel robotic platforms, impactful applications, patents, and commercialization activities. Our research spans multiple domains including robotic mobility, intelligent systems, perception, and deployable robotic platforms for real-world applications.

We are seeking motivated Robotics Engineers / Research Engineers from diverse engineering and research backgrounds to join our team and contribute to cutting-edge robotics research and development.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and prototype robotic systems and subsystems to achieve project goals and research KPIs across applications such as inspection, surveillance, logistics, maintenance, and service robotics.

• Conduct research and implementation of various robotic subsystems including mechanical structures, sensing systems, electronics integration, and computing architectures.

• Support the design, testing, and validation of robotic platforms and experimental systems through simulations, prototyping, and real-world trials.

• Develop experimental setups and conduct performance evaluations for robotic systems, including hardware and software components.

• Work on integration of sensors, computing modules, and embedded systems into robotic platforms.

• Assist in documenting research outcomes through technical reports, publications, and presentations.

• Experience with robotics development tools, simulation platforms, or design software is beneficial (e.g., CAD tools, ROS/ROS2, robotics simulation environments).

• Familiarity with hardware integration, sensors, or robotic system architectures is advantageous.
