Job Description

You will join SEEK as a Senior Business Analyst in the AI and Platform Services (AIPS) Delivery and Operations function, reporting to the Program Manager and working with AI Product Managers, Engineers and Data Scientists — including the Pricing and Performance team — to deliver high-value AI products using cutting-edge technology.

You will lead complex business analysis across AI product initiatives, from requirements and process design through to agile delivery, risk management and change adoption, ensuring new AI-driven systems and processes deliver measurable business outcomes that support SEEK's purpose of helping people live more fulfilling and productive working lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to define AI product initiative scope, objectives and deliverables, and gather and validate requirements and feedback across the lifecycle.
• Lead the collection and documentation of complex business requirements, user stories, use cases and acceptance criteria for AI product initiatives.
• Analyse, prioritise and trace requirements, clarifying scope, dependencies and business value to guide decision-making.
• Map and document current ("as-is") and future ("to-be") business processes to enable business transformation and AI-driven improvements.
• Support solution design and assess proposed solutions against stakeholder needs, ensuring they deliver measurable value and quality outcomes.
• Drive agile delivery by leading iteration planning, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives, monitoring progress and driving continuous improvement.
• Identify and manage technical, operational and market risks, support change management, and help embed new systems or processes with stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops and cross-functional meetings, coach and mentor junior team members, and share best practices across BA and AIPS communities.
• Collaborate on test case development and support testing and defect resolution to ensure solutions meet agreed requirements and standards.
• Liaise with third-party vendors as needed, supporting SLA compliance and contributing to recruitment and onboarding activities in the team.

The Role

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will take the lead in conducting complex business analysis and iteration management to ensure successful initiative outcomes. Your responsibilities include crafting detailed documentation of intricate requirements, facilitating high-level communication with stakeholders, and identifying key opportunities for process optimization that align with broader business objectives.

Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, such as engineers and product owners, you will lead iterative development and refinement processes, enhancing overall project delivery. You will manage risk, support the seamless implementation of solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives, ultimately delivering significant business value and contributing to strategic business success.

Within MPS, the Profile, Apply and Jobs Services (PAJS) team provide shared capabilities that underpin many of SEEK’s core marketplace experiences: how candidates discover roles, create and manage profiles, and apply for jobs, and how hirers create, manage and optimise job ads. These services sit at the heart of SEEK’s Employment Marketplace and are consumed at scale across the group. 

Key responsibilities

• Define scope, objectives, deliverables; validate requirements and capture feedback.

Our client is a charity organisation that offer community care and healthcare services. They are currently seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Business Partner to join their Finance team.

About the role:

Drive business partnering and financial insight for the Groups services, with a particular focus on revamping fee and grant management. This role will work closely with operations to influence strategy, improve financial performance, and support growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary FP&A partner for the Groups operational services.
• Lead the financial review and optimisation of fee and grant processes, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
• Provide actionable financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Prepare forecasting, scenario analysis, and financial models for key service lines.
• Monitor revenue performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with operations to implement better cost and revenue management practices.
• Collaborate with teams to improve fee capture, grant utilisation, and reporting.
• Support development of KPIs and dashboards for management visibility.
• Assist in business case development and investment appraisals for new initiatives.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data and reporting across service lines.
• Drive continuous improvement in finance-business collaboration and processes.
• Participate ingroup-wide FP&A projects and transformation initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; professional qualification preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in FP&A or finance business partnering.
• Experience in service-line financial analysis, revenue management, or grant/fee reporting.
• Strong business partnering, influencing, and communication skills.
• Ability to design and implement financial models and scenario analysis.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Business Central preferred) and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
• Experience in a transforming or growing organisation is an advantage.
• Proactive, forward-looking, and able to drive improvements across finance and operations.
