Job Purpose:

Responsibilities

Quality Control Sampling Responsibilities

• Perform sampling of raw materials, One-time-use technologies and consumables in strict accordance with approved SOPs, sampling plans, and GMP requirements.
• Apply validated sampling techniques and equipment (e.g., sampling thieves, scoops, syringes) to ensure representative samples while minimizing contamination risks.

Logistics & Warehouse Operations Support Responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt, quarantine, storage, and distribution of incoming QC samples (internal and external) while adhering to GDP and GMP storage conditions (e.g., 2–8°C, ambient, frozen).
• Manage outbound sample shipments to external testing labs, stability chambers, or contract manufacturers, including preparation of documentation, temperature-controlled packaging, and carrier coordination.
• Maintain inventory of sampling consumables and logistics supplies; initiate orders and perform reconciliations as needed.
• Collaborate with warehouse and transport partners to ensure seamless sample flow and compliance with applicable import/export regulations.
• Support kitting, staging, and material issuance for manufacturing and QC activities.

Documentation & Systems Responsibilities

• Accurately execute transactions in warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP EWM, iSHIFT, or equivalent).

Requirements

• Higher NITEC or Diploma in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Microbiology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a closely related scientific/technical field
• Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences environment, with direct involvement in quality control sampling, sample management, materials handling, warehouse operations, or logistics support.

• Address quality issues arising from production and customer feedback by working closely with production teams to implement corrective actions and resolve customer complaints with proper documentation.
• Ensure timely closure of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), non-conformance reports, and customer complaints, and publish quality performance reports.
• Lead Material Review Board (MRB) meetings with cross-functional teams to perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and verify effectiveness.
• Supervise and lead QC inspectors to ensure parts inspection compliance with engineering drawings and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Min 3 years of relevant experience in quality or manufacturing environments, with exposure to audits and documentation.
• Basic understanding of supplier management and quality coordination.
• Familiarity with commonly used quality management standards (e.g. ISO systems).
• Working knowledge of quality tools and process control methods.

The QC Inspector performs dimensional and visual inspections across all quality checkpoints including receiving, first piece, in-process and final inspections. The role ensures that products conform to engineering drawings, process sheets and customer requirements. Senior QC Inspectors are additionally responsible for guiding junior inspectors, interpreting GD&T independently, operating CMM systems and supporting documentation or measurement equipment management. Both roles are essential to maintaining production quality and traceability in accordance with AS9100 and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inspection Operations

• Perform Receiving, First-Piece, In-process and Final Inspections as required.

2. Verification of Incoming Material & Subcontracted Goods

• Perform required dimensional & visual inspectiosn, verification of vendors reports (includes mill and surface treatment certificate) and quantity checks.

3. First Piece/ In-process Inspections

• Perform First Piece and In-process inspections and records the inspection result.

4. Final / Outgoing Inspections

• Conduct dimensional and visual checks as per checklist, sampling plans and customer requirements.

5. Control of Non-Conforming Products

• Identify, segregate the NC products with NC reports and escalating to Quality Technician and Engineer for disposition and actions.

6. Equipment & Tool Handling

• Verify calibration status before use of measuring tools and proper handling of measuring equipment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 years of experience in product inspection or quality control.
• Able to handle caliper, micrometer, height gauge, bore gauges and Profile Projectors.
• Basic knowledge of ISO/AS9100 standards preferred CMM or vision system usage experience required.
• Able to read and write in English.

Required Competencies:

• Proficient in hand measurement tools and visual inspection methods.
• Able to follow inspection plans and SOPs with minimal supervision.
• Basic understanding of product traceability and documentation.
• Willingness to learn advanced tools and system.
• Strong GD&T interpretation and drawing analysis skills.
• Knowledge and Hand-on skilled in CMM operation (preferably with programming exposure).

This position reports to the Logistics Manager and will be trained to analyze inventory data to support effective inventory management, cost control, and operational decision-making. He/she will learn to ensure data accuracy across ERP systems, monitors inventory performance, identifies trends in consumption, excess, and obsolescence, and learn to deliver actionable insights through reports and dashboards. Exposure working cross-functionally with operations, materials, warehouse, and finance teams to improve inventory health, data integrity, and compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

Learning Outcomes:

• Inventory Performance Analysis: Analyze inventory data across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to monitor turns, DOS, accuracy, and inventory health (active, slow, excess, obsolete).

• Data Extraction & Validation: Extract inventory and transaction data from SAP / ERP and BI tools; validate data accuracy, completeness, and alignment with physical inventory and cycle unt records.

• Cycle Count & Variance Analysis: Support cycle count and physical inventory processes by analyzing variance trends, identifying root causes, and highlighting repeat discrepancies for corrective action.

• Excess & Obsolete (E&O) Reporting (Warehouse Storage): Exposure working with MA on regular E&O reports, identify aging inventory risks, and learn to propose data-driven mitigation actions such as usage, reallocation, or disposition and identify Warehouse Storage recording

• Dashboard & Reporting Development: Develop and maintain inventory dashboards and standard reports using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools to support management decision-making.

• Inventory Cost & Warehouse cost Analysis: Support financial analysis related to inventory valuation, material absorption, and inventory warehouse Cost impact by providing accurate and timely data insights.

• Process Improvement & Data Standardization: Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or data inconsistencies in inventory processes and collaborate with planning, warehouse, and finance teams to improve data integrity and process robustness.

• Audit & Compliance Support: Provide inventory data, analysis, and documentation required for internal and external audits, including SOX, inventory waivers, and compliance reviews.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Production Control, Materials Planning, Warehouse, Finance, and Operations teams to align inventory data insights with operational and business objectives.

Technical Skills and Competencies:
