You will play a vital role in upholding regional regulatory standards and supporting the integrity of the insurance broking lifecycle.

• Implement and manage regional compliance monitoring programs to ensure all business activities align with established regulatory and ethical benchmarks.

• Oversee financial crime prevention protocols, including the management of sanctions screening and comprehensive counterparty due diligence.

• Support senior leadership in the development and refinement of risk management frameworks, ensuring exposures remain within defined organizational limits.

• Facilitate enterprise-wide risk activities, including the maintenance of regional risk registers and the coordination of internal incident reporting.

• Serve as a subject matter expert by delivering internal training sessions and providing advisory support on policy requirements to diverse business units.

Skills and experience required

• Degree in Banking and Finance 

• Proven professional background in risk, audit, or compliance, preferably within the insurance or broader financial services sectors.

• Technical proficiency in conducting independent testing, control assessments, and monitoring reviews.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex regulatory requirements to stakeholders at all levels.

Main Tasks and Duties

• Conducts the implementation of the branch compliance plan
• Respond to regulatory authorities’ routine queries and coordinates completion of survey and other request for information
• Develop and perform periodic compliance reviews
• Investigates compliance breaches and customer complaints.
• Draft the annual compliance plan for HOD and management approval.
• Conducts compliance training and provides advisory on Banking Act, SFA and FAA and other compliance matters
• Implement and update compliance policies and procedures based on Head Office, and local regulatory requirements.
• Prepares/reviews periodic reporting to local regulatory authorities, Head office and Management.

Job Requirements

• Recognized bachelor degree or above, preferably in Business or related discipline
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a regulatory compliance role.
• Experience in SFA/FAA advisory
• Performed compliance review/compliance testing such as Balanced Scorecard Review, Private Banking Sales Advisory Review, Continuing Professional Development review, Fit and Proper Review etc. or Due Diligence for New Product onboarding/Product variation of existing products
• Working Knowledge of Banking Act would be an advantageous
• Proficiency in English & Mandarin to liaise with English & Mandarin speaking internal/external stakeholders
• Strong knowledge in local rules and regulations
• Good interpersonal skills to handle stakeholders across multiple departments

• Design and develop robust test scenarios, translating them into Advanced Jbehaves.

• Collaborate with Product Owners (PO) to review test scenarios, ensuring completeness and implementing meta-tagging for enhanced future reusability.

• Leverage expertise in JIRA, BDD, and Zephyr for effective management of testing processes.

• Execute test artifacts and upload them to the appropriate systems.

• Perform defect management, including timely retesting and ensuring proper Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for all closed defects.

• Prepare detailed test data requirements.

• Contribute to daily test management reports and actively participate in daily stand-ups and other relevant agile ceremonies.

• Monitor and track system downtime and maintain the regression test pack.

• Develop and prepare comprehensive training materials.

• Provide crucial support during live implementation phases and address post-implementation issues.

• Contribute in performing Live verifications when project is launched

• Proven experience in database and JAVA library management is additional advantage.

Your Credentials

·      Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business (with a technology focus), legal or a related field

Scope

• Prepare and execute testing i.e. analyses requirements, develop test strategies, test plan, test scenarios/cases.

• Responsible for end to end testing delivery for the applications in collaboration with other stakeholders/interfacing systems.

• Responsible for the timely delivery of different testing milestones.

• Actively participate in inception, daily stand-ups and retrospective meeting & represent testing

• Accurately evaluate and report test results, test progress, and product quality

Credit Control & Collection Executive

Working Days: Mon – Fri, 9am – 6pm
Salary: $3,000 - $4,500 + AWS + VB

Responsibilities:

• Research and verify customer credit data to establish or update credit lines
• Assess and recommend approval of credit limits
• Investigate and resolve invoice disputes to facilitate timely payments or credit issuance
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue balances
• Engage customers to secure payments and negotiate payment plans
• Place delinquent accounts on hold where necessary until payment arrangements are confirmed
• Recommend escalation of accounts to collection agencies when required
