Responsibilities

Job Description

The Manager, Risk & Compliance is a new role at Hafnia, to be based in Singapore or Copenhagen and part of the Governance, Risk & Compliance pillar within the Executive Projects, Compliance & ESG team. The team works closely with Hafnia's Leadership Group across three pillars to enable strategic execution, safeguard the organization through robust governance and risk oversight, and embed sustainability across the business.

The role reports to the Senior Manager, Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance. During an initial transition period, the role will report directly to the Head of Executive Projects, Compliance & ESG.

This position will play a critical role in operating Hafnia's risk management framework and Corporate Compliance Program, driving compliance efforts and managing enterprise risks. It involves guiding departments and maintaining oversight on compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to sanctions, anti-corruption, anti-trust, anti-money laundering, GDPR, and business ethics. A key focus is building a strong culture of integrity and adherence to regulatory and risk standards across the organization.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Risk management framework

• Operationalize and continuously improve Hafnia's enterprise risk management framework
• Conduct risk assessments and risk reviews with business owners across functions

The QMS/QA Manager will be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving AITbiotech's Quality Management System in alignment with ISO 13485, HSA (Singapore MDA) regulations, and CE-IVD/IVDR requirements. Key Responsibilities

1.  QMS Maintenance & Continuous Improvement

• Own and manage the end-to-end ISO 13485-certified QMS, including document control, change control, CAPA, internal audits, and management review processes.
• Conduct periodic QMS gap analyses, identify process weaknesses, and drive corrective and preventive action plans.
• Maintain and improve the Quality Manual, SOPs, work instructions, and related controlled documents across all departments.

What you will do:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leading internal audit reviews, risk and controls self-assessment, internal controls testing, compliance reviews, business process review and risk analysis, providing value-added recommendations.

For internal audit review:

• Assign as lead auditor for entity-level (NPX) or special-area audit assignments.
• Prepare and develop a work plan by identifying high-risk areas to be examined for the audit assignment.
• Organise, manage and coordinate the field audits as follows:
• Review the key business processes;
• Review the root cause of the key issues identified during the audit and establish the seriousness of the discoveries;
• Determine the risk implication and recommend appropriate improvement measures (with consideration of business practicality).
• Conduct process review to identify possible area of weaknesses, potential conflict of duties, deliberate non-compliance and likelihood of high-risk control lapses.
• The review of key business processes will include but not limited to the following:
• Sales Cycle Management – sales order processing, credit control, receivable administration and sales return;
• Purchase Cycle Management – supplier management, material requirement planning, purchase order processing and payable administration;
• Inventory Cycle Management – inventory turnover analysis, consumption analysis, stocks ageing administration and quality control of aged materials;
• Cash Cycle Management – segregation of receipt and payable duties, proper authorization of payment, cash conversion cycle analysis.
• Follow-up on the implementation of audit recommendations.
• Ensure consistency in the use of audit methodology and support the strengthening and improvement of audit processes.
• Maintain excellent working relationships with auditees and senior management in order to resolve issues as they arise and provide practical solutions.
• Consolidate the audit findings for presentation to NPX management at audit exit meeting and prepare the audit report.
• Helping stakeholders to design and operationalize risk management framework
• Leading compliance reviews, design and operationalize compliance management framework
• Delivering projects from planning to closure and perform first review of team member’s work.
• Support ad-hoc projects as directed by the department manager.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• This position will be based in Singapore.
• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Chemical), Business Studies/Administration/Management, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the manufacturing environment, service industry or public accounting. Those with knowledge of risk assurance management, operational and internal control areas, supply chain management, and internal audit are preferred.
• Meticulous, highly analytical, process-driven individual with the ability to work both independently and as a team member.
• Good communication skills in English and Chinese, both written & spoken, are required for this role in order to liaise with China counterparts.
• Computer literacy in ERP system (i.e. SAP), Microsoft Office and other business-related software will be advantageous.
• Frequent travelling is required (approximately 50% of the time).

Job Description

• Lead product development process and facilitate cross-functional teams to execute the agreed product plan, while ensuring compliance with the product development policy and SOPs

• Ensure effective communication between the Product management team and our core internal partners in Finance, Technology, Customer Experience, Life Operations, Marketing and Distribution

• Provides regular communication and updates on progress ensure visibility and action on the key risks and issues

• Collaborate with the Product managers and other stakeholders to manage timeline and track implementation progress for the entire product development cycle, from pre-launch to post-launch

• Ensure completion of product launch signoffs, record management of all relevant documents and post-launch review under Product Management

• Identify areas of optimisation and improvements by deconstructing issues and proposing solutions for future improvement

The Senior Compliance Audit Manager will be a valuable member of the Global Compliance Assurance Team and will support the development, implementation and oversight of Arthrex’s Risk Management & Compliance (RM&C)’s auditing and monitoring program, primarily for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. The Senior Compliance Audit Manager will be based in Singapore and will report to the Director, Global Compliance Assurance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the enhancement of the company’s global compliance audit and monitoring program.
• Support the Director, Global Compliance Assurance in the development and presentation of an Annual Auditing and Monitoring Plan—covering the company’s subsidiaries and third parties—based on an appropriate risk-based methodology to the Vice President, RM&C and Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) and the Global Risk and Compliance Committee (GRCC).
• Coordinate with the Director, Global Compliance Assurance in supporting the management of the affairs of the Assurance Remediation Committee (ARC).
• Lead the effective execution of the Annual Auditing Plan for the APAC region by directing and perfoming corporate and third-party compliance audits,  ensuring high‑quality workpapers, and delivering well‑documented and clearly communicated audit findings.
• Support business leadership and cross-functional teams in driving the timely implementation of corrective and remedial actions arising from audit and monitoring findings, ensuring that identified issues are effectively addressed and underlying root causes resolved.
• Support the Director, Global Compliance Assurance in preparing and delivering periodic reports to the Vice President, RM&C and CCO, as well as the GRCC and the ARC, on the status of the Annual Auditing and Monitoring Plan, key audit and monitoring findings, and progress of the remedial measures.
• Support the development and implementation of strategies to ensure the company’s values and ethical standards are clearly emphasized, consistently communicated, and effectively integrated across the organization, including delivering training where appropriate.

• Provide guidance and interpretation on the company’s Code of Conduct, Third-Party Compliance Handbook, compliance policies, relevant health industry regulations, and applicable industry codes.
• Recommend enhancements to corporate compliance policies and practices to ensure continued alignment with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Build strong partnerships with the APAC Legal & Compliance Director, as well as business and functional stakeholders, to support the implementation and continuous enhancement of the company’s global compliance program.
• Support investigations of reported compliance-related issues, when requested, and collaborate with key gate-keeper functions—including the Director, Global Investigations, the APAC Legal & Compliance Director, Human Resources, and Legal—to ensure that all reported concerns are promptly and thoroughly investigated.

• Ensure compliance within the functional area and actively support the organization’s broader compliance objectives.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of healthcare compliance rules, regulations, enforcement trends, and industry standards to ensure ongoing alignment with evolving compliance expectations.
• Up to 30%-40% international travel may be required.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Accounting, Business Management, Finance, Law or a related field.

• Certified or Chartered Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or other similar professional certification is preferred.
• Experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or broader life sciences industry is preferred.
• Experience in data analytics is a plus.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

• Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise risk management, internal audit processes, and laws and regulations applicable to a global medical device company.
• Knowledge of current compliance regulations, including the AdvaMed Code, Eucomed Code of Ethical Business Practice, U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and U.K. Bribery Act.
• High ethical standards and strong business acumen to lead to sound, timely and thorough results and recommendations.
