Role Summary: Chemical Manufacturing Plant

The QC Laboratory Analyst ensures the quality and compliance of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products through analytical testing, reporting, and adherence to HSE, Quality and regulatory standards. The role supports operational continuity by providing accurate data, corrective actions, and maintaining laboratory integrity.

Essential Responsibilities:-

• Perform testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products according to established standards.
• Communicate batch results to relevant stakeholders and recommend adjustments or corrective actions.
• Record test results in LIMS, prepare quality reports, and issue Certificates of Analysis (COA).
• Conduct periodic calibration and verification of laboratory instruments and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare test solutions and reagents, ensuring proper storage and monitoring of chemicals.
• Retain and store finished product samples per retention requirements and conduct verificationchecks when needed.
• Assist Chemists in audits, validations, change control, failure analysis, and CAPA responses.
• Maintain laboratory housekeeping, manage waste, and ensure disposal complies with environmental regulations.
• Carry out responsibilities safely in line with SOPs and HSE policies.

EssentialRequirements of the role (Experience / Skills / Competencies):-

• Years of experience: 3+ years with associate's degree/Diploma OR Entry level with University Degree
• Field of experience: Quality Control Laboratory, Chemical Manufacturing, Industrial Chemistry, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering.
• Tools or Software (Required): Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), SAP, laboratory test equipment. MS office.

Technical Skills:

• Strong chemistry knowledge and ability to run laboratory tests.
• Proficiency in analytical techniques and data interpretation.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA), problem‑solving, and critical thinking.
• Mathematical proficiency (fractions, ratios, proportions).
• Ability to perform simple verification/calibration and maintain laboratory instruments.

Turnaround Quality Engineer is responsible for developing efficient and effective quality planning for Turnaround work requests, which include multi-disciplinary equipment - mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, analyzers and civil. The Turnaround Quality Engineer is responsible to ensure work packages comply with QA/QC requirements which includes integrating the needs and contribution of Reliability, Asset Integrity, Operations and HSSEQ teams.

Accountabilities:

• Quality Planning and Control: Develop and implement the Turnaround Quality Plan in alignment with company standards, procedures and work instructions. Establish quality procedures in relevance to Turnaround manual and checklists for all turnaround activities in accordance with Asset Management team.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure all turnaround complies with applicable codes, standards and procedures. Lead and participate in Quality audits and pre-job briefings with the contractors to reinforce quality expectations.
• Risk Register and Lesson Learn: Support Turnaround Manager in risk management and manage the Turnaround risk register and lesson learnt register.
• Knowledge Retention and Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in quality system and turnaround execution.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
• Minimum 7 years in process plant turnaround and maintenance activities, specifically in Turnaround inspection and quality management.
• Knowledge in inspections and quality management, particularly in quick-paced, high intensity ans time constrained turnaround environments.
• Strong knowledge in process plant inspection techniques & requirements - ASNT specifications, API/ASME requirements, WPS/PQR and welder's qualification, ASME PCC-1.
• Knowledge of process plant production and maintenance, including contractors supervision & management.
• Candidate must be willing to work for 12 months contract.
