PURPOSE

The QA Manager isresponsible for defining, governing, and executing end‑to‑end testing to ensurehigh‑quality delivery across projects and releases. The role owns the testingstrategy, manages the full testing lifecycle, develops QA capability, andensures testing is comprehensive, accurate, and aligned with business anddelivery timelines.

KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES

QA Governance

·        Define, implement, and maintain the QA &UAT operating model across projects

·        Establish and enforce testing standards,frameworks, and quality controls

·        Ensure requirement traceability and testingcoverage across all deliveries

·        Provide overall governance for QA and UATactivities

Test Planning andManagement:

·       Define test strategy,scope, and approach for projects and releases

·       Develop and manage QA &UAT test plans, test cycles, and test matrices

·       Perform test effortestimation for QA and UAT, including resource demand planning

·       Identify testingdependencies, risks, and mitigation plans with stakeholders

·       Define and track QA metricsto measure quality, efficiency, and effectiveness

·       Drive continuousimprovement in testing processes, tools, and methodologies

TestExecution& Delivery Management:

·       Manage and oversee execution of test plans, cycles,and defect management

·       Coordinate QA and UAT activities with project teamsand business users

·       Ensure test results are accurate, consistent, andmeet quality standards

·       Supportbusiness readiness and production/live deployment activities

People &Capability Management:

·       Train, coach, and onboardnew QA resources

·       Provide regular teststatus, risk, and quality reporting

·       Communicate test decisions,issues, and impacts clearly and proactively

Stakeholder& Reporting Management:

·       Act as the primary QA pointof contact for project managers and stakeholders

·       Assign and manage QAresources across test cycles and projects

·       Ensure consistent testingpractices and quality outcomes across the team

Key Responsibilities

QA Strategy & Governance

• Define and implement QA and UAT frameworks across projects
• Establish testing standards, methodologies, and quality controls
• Ensure full traceability between requirements and test coverage
• Govern overall QA and UAT processes to maintain consistency and quality

Test Planning & Management

• Develop test strategies, plans, and execution approaches for projects and releases
• Manage test cycles, test cases, and resource planning
• Perform effort estimation and identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans
• Define and track QA metrics to monitor quality and delivery effectiveness
• Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and practices

Test Execution & Delivery

• Oversee execution of test plans and defect management processes
• Coordinate closely with project teams and business stakeholders during UAT
• Ensure testing outputs meet quality standards and support production readiness

Stakeholder Management & Reporting

• Act as the main QA point of contact for project teams and stakeholders
• Provide clear reporting on test progress, risks, and quality metrics
• Communicate issues, decisions, and impacts effectively

Team Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop QA team members
• Allocate resources across projects and ensure effective delivery
• Build and enhance QA capabilities within the organization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, Insurance, or related field
• Proven experience in QA/Test Management within the life insurance domain
• Strong experience managing end-to-end testing across large-scale projects or product launches
• Hands-on experience in test strategy, planning, execution, and defect management
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Experience working with legacy systems (e.g., AS/400) is advantageous
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight timelines
• Experience in leading and developing QA teams
• Exposure to automation testing is a plus

Role Overview

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to design and implement test automation frameworks for ServiceNow Public Sector Digital Services (PSDS), Customer Service Management (CSM), and App Engine applications. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality ServiceNow implementations through automated testing, integration validation, and performance testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for ServiceNow applications.

• Design end-to-end automated test cases covering workflows, APIs, integrations, and UI.

• Perform integration, API, and performance testing for ServiceNow systems.

• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to define test strategies and quality standards.

• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous delivery.

• Monitor test results, identify defects, and drive quality improvements.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in Quality Engineering or Test Automation (7+ years for senior roles).

• Strong experience with test automation tools such as Playwright.

• Knowledge of ServiceNow platform, particularly CSM / PSDS / App Engine.

• Experience with API testing, system integrations, and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.

• ServiceNow certifications (CSA or similar) are a plus.
