Prepare and raise purchase orders and order schedules.2. Should have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) as need to work with vendors, plants, business on wide ranging issues through connecting on phone calls and emails3. Coordinate and ensure the delivery of material on time with close co-ordination with Supplier.4. Ensure timely payment of invoices has been done against procured material by working on any revisions or changes needed as a buyer in timely manner5. Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations.6. Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects and activities.7. Provide analysis on costs, new and existing and review cost reduction activities and strive for savings8. Prepare tracker, reports and updates as and when required.9. Work closely with others in the procurement function and review opportunities for continuous improvement and business improvements.10. Good to have experience in contracts negotiation, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods.11. Build, maintain and manage supplier and other stakeholders relationships and maintain good communications.12. Ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships.13. Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures and process.14. Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality & delivery or invoice issues.15. Should possess good organization and time management skills.16. Should be willing to work in US night shifts, extra hours and on weekends as per the process requirements Should be open to learn new thingsLanguage Capability - English Spoken Proficiency - excellent communication skillsWritten Proficiency - excellent communication skills
