Your main responsibilities will include:

• Creating and updating of technical manual and publications
• Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents, including software and systems engineering, system operations, operations, and user documentation.
• Gather and analyze technical and product information from various sources to document new or changing product functionality.
• Write, format, edit, review, and proof procedural and technical information for technical and nontechnical users.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work to meet project release dates and client deliverables.
• Maintain a library of documentation, cataloguing it for internal and/or external use.
• Publish and maintain templates for written documentation produced by others (technical specifications, RFP responses, etc.), ensuring a consistent "look and feel."

Job Purpose:

Lead site communication activities to prepare & deliver site communication including internal & external to meet the business and operation’s needs.

• Location: West (2-ways transport provided)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead site communications performance review exercise. Analyse qualitative and quantitative data to measure and improve current communications efforts of the company. Propose and drive communication improvement plan for the site 
• Implement and monitor the company’s internal / external communication strategy  
• Prepare communication content – infographics, memos, newsletter etc for site announcements, milestones, townhalls, business slides and more 
• Assist in communication key messages and strategy from site leadership team   
• Assist in organizing and coordinating plant events, company video, interviews, statements etc. 
• Roll out the communications strategy and plan as per discussed and review on a quarterly basis with the leadership team to re-define changes to next quarter strategies or communications plan if required. 
• Responsible for visual communication at site such as digital display, wall display, notice board, Yammer, banners and other marketing collaterals (when required). 
• Responsible for external communication and branding activities, supporting media publication, press release, Alcon branding in education institutions and public events. 
• Owner of the media archive (old photos / videos), social media and responsible for data privacy for all new photo / videos 
• Work closely with key internal stakeholders to brainstorm effective and innovative communication ideas to improve workplace productivity through internal communications 
• Play an active role in identifying and improving communications demands and delivery of campaigns to all target audiences. 
• To assist in managing all global & regional roll out program relevant to site Communication. To be the liaison person for all external communication with the Corporate Communication Team

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 to 7 years management experience supervising senior managers, ideally at a regional level
