About the Role

My client is seeking a dedicated and student-centred Student Management Coordinator to support the school's student management, behavioural support, and student development initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with school leaders, teachers, counsellors, students, and parents to foster a safe, supportive, and conducive learning environment.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with children and youth, have strong interpersonal skills, and are committed to supporting students' behavioural, social-emotional, and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

Student Discipline and Behaviour Management

• Support the school's student management and discipline framework.

• Supervise detention, reflection sessions, and restorative practices for students with behavioural concerns.

• Provide in-class support to teachers in managing students exhibiting challenging or disruptive behaviours.

• Assist in fact-finding investigations relating to student incidents and behavioural cases.

• Maintain accurate records of incidents, interventions, and follow-up actions.

• Monitor students with recurring behavioural concerns and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.

• Liaise with parents and guardians on routine behavioural matters when required.

• Support the implementation of restorative and developmental approaches to behaviour management.

Student Support and Intervention

• Coordinate and facilitate after-school programmes for students requiring additional behavioural, social-emotional, or academic support.

• Develop and conduct activities that promote resilience, positive behaviour, self-management, and student engagement.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Youth Work, Social Sciences, or related disciplines.
