You love to tell stories, whether to media, on social or other channels. You are proactive in reaching out to find stories, shape a clear and compelling narrative for Grab, and lead the development and execution of creative, impactful communication strategies across Southeast Asia.

You should have a strong track record of developing and executing programmes from the ground up, with proven results. You are comfortable with data and able to translate it into interesting insights for external audiences. You are strong in writing, critical thinking, and can think ahead and anticipate issues.

You will be an individual contributor, reporting to the Head of Corporate Communications. It is a fully onsite role, based in either Malaysia or Indonesia.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Contribute to shaping Grab's corporate brand and equity story
• Develop and implement a regional communications programme that showcases Grab tech and product, including organising regional media and influencer events, and enabling country PR teams to drive local announcements for Grab corporate, tech and product updates
• Manage thought leadership programmes for Grab executives
• Build and maintain strong regional media relationships
• Handle issues management
• Oversee the review process for external communications and create multi-format content development for owned channels

• The GrabMart Merchant Acquisition team owns the full merchant journey. This journey includes shaping acquisition strategy and curating the right assortment, as well as setting pricing, designing promotions, and driving partner success across our on-demand retail and groceries platform.
• We work closely with Marketing, Operations, Product, and Regional teams to deliver standout selection, smart pricing, and best-in-class experiences for our users.
• In this role, you'll partner closely with Key Account Managers and Partner Operations. You'll bring strategic retail partners on board, including supermarkets, convenience chains, specialty, lifestyle, and FMCG brands. You'll ensure a seamless onboarding experience together with the KAM team.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Develop and execute strategies to acquire new merchants for GrabMart, including identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Manage a pipeline of prospective retail partners, tracking progress and ensuring consistent follow-up to hit acquisition targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams — including Key Account Management, Marketing, Product, and Operations — to ensure a cohesive approach to merchant acquisition and onboarding.
• Analyze retail and quick-commerce trends, competitor activity, and category developments to identify opportunities and refine acquisition strategies.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets across new merchant signings, category coverage, and GMV contribution — reporting on progress and adjusting strategies as needed.

• You will lead agents, collaborate with external agencies, aim to meet set OKRs, and comply with standards. You'll pioneer new procedures, boost collaboration and productivity.
• You will report to the Head of Lending Collections and be based in Petaling Jaya, working onsite.

• You will manage the daily operations of the MY and SG collections team, ensuring efficient resolution of customer accounts promptly.
• You will develop and implement strategies to improve collections processes, reduce bad debt, and increase repayment rate.

The Critical Tasks You will Perform:

Regional Digital Lending Strategy

• Develop the strategic roadmap for AI-driven digital SME lending solutions across the region and multiple ecosystem-based credit products
• Advise management on key issues (e.g., strategic initiatives, business plans, major investments) through clear framing, systems-level thinking, and rigorous analysis of the SME financing landscape.
• Lead assessments and feasibility studies for new SME lending product introduction, geographic business growth, commercial ventures and strategic partnerships relevant to SME credit and financing.

Business Intelligence and Monitoring

• Design market intelligence metrics and performance measurement dashboards to monitor ongoing performance of Lending's portfolio of businesses
• Lead the daily monitoring of key lending metrics, highlight areas of strength and improvement and independently drive changes working with the country teams

AI, Data & Decisioning Enablement

• Champion the use of AI, machine learning, and analytics to enhance credit assessment, fraud detection, pricing and risk segmentation, customer targeting, and portfolio optimization by collaborating with data science and risk teams
• Optimize customer journeys by orchestrating digital processes and technology integration across the lending journey, ensuring seamless and efficient experiences for customers and internal users.

Market and Project oversight

• Collaborate with local country teams to execute go-to-market strategies and establish partnerships across various markets.
• Execute key strategic projects, from identifying issues, analysing data and trends, working cross-vertical, with the purpose of generating insights and relevant business recommendations.

• Provide inputs and advise the management team on key issues (e.g. strategic initiatives, business unit level plans, and major investments) based on clear issue framing, systems-level thinking and rigorous analyses.
• Lead assessments and feasibility studies for new product introduction, geographic business growth, commercial ventures and key strategic partnerships

Business monitoring and insights

• Design market intelligence metrics and performance measurement dashboards to monitor ongoing performance of Lending's portfolio of businesses
• Lead daily monitoring of key lending metrics, highlight areas of strength and improvement and independently guide changes working with the country teams
• Assist Lending leadership in periodic review and reporting of business performance (Exco level, Board level documents)

Business owner support - Driver Lending

• Work with the Driver Lending segment lead to rollout products and partnerships across markets collaborating with country leads and country teams
• Bridge business opportunities with product development with a grasp of business imperatives and a clear understanding of technology and regulatory framework's possibilities and/or limitations.
• Lead and execute key strategic projects, from identifying issues, gathering information from multiple sources, analysing data, and interpreting patterns, and trends with the purpose of generating insights about the market
