About the role…

ALP, an innovative firm specializing in logistic property development, is seeking Automation Maintenance Engineers to oversee the efficient operations of our upcoming Smart Logistic Warehouse near Bukit Raja, Selangor. This pivotal role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including setup field maintenance performance targets (efficiency & cost) and execution plans for maintenance teams.

The Automation Maintenance Engineer will collaborate closely with internal teams, including solution planning, property management, and IT, to optimize automation performance and ensure integration of state-of-the-art technology. 1.Daily Maintenance Coordination: Plan, schedule, and follow up on daily maintenance activities with contractors and internal teams to ensure timely and effective execution. Record daily outcomes and prepare schedules for up coming work.

2.Equipment Troubleshooting & Support: Investigate and resolve faults or failures in electrical and instrumentation systems, supporting both corrective and preventive actions to ensure reliable operation.

3.Vendor& Shutdown Coordination: Liaise with in-house and external contractors for day-to-day services and major shutdown maintenance activities, including work planning, site coordination, and communication with production teams.

4.Maintenance Planning & Reliability Improvement: Assist in developing and enhancing long-term maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability and prevent recurrence of issues, in collaboration with production and contractors.

5.Inventory& Procurement Support: Monitor maintenance spare parts inventory, including receiving and issuing updates, and assist with purchase requests for tools, spare parts, and maintenance services.

6.Documentation& Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation such as calibration records, maintenance files, work orders, and compliance with ISO standards and internal SOPs.

REQUIREMENTS:

2. Min 5 years hands on experience in E&I senior technician/supervisor in a chemical plant.

3. Must have knowledge and hand-on experience with DCS and PLC system.
