JOBSCOPE :

• Supervising the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner.

• Liaising with other engineers to develop plans that improve production, costs, and labor required.

• Diagnosing problems in the production line and providing recommendations and training.

• Establishing safety procedures and protocols that take the workers' well-being into account, and that also minimize the carbon footprint.

• Keeping abreast of advancements in engineering and production, and sharing knowledge with co-workers.

• Identifying, documenting, and reporting unsafe practices.

• Analyzing all facets of production and making recommendations for improvement.

We’re searching for an Associate Equipment Engineer to be part of our Thin Film CVD department diverse team of talent. You will be responsible for supporting Thin Film Equipment startup, maintenance and related activities to support daily production and achieve operation targets.

What you will be working on:

• To assist CVD equipment engineers to sustain equipment performance and perform schedule & ad hoc preventive maintenance related activities to achieve operation goals
• Perform 12-hour shift duties to support the running of Production and ensure equipment readiness and worthiness for production
• Ensure good PM quality and PM success rate for good Uptime
• Planning of Daily PM schedule for negotiations with Manufacturing
• Maintain good 6s in work environment before and after PM
• Parts ownership to ensure sufficient parts for basic Preventive Maintenance Activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve Issues encountered during PM
• Assist Duty Engineers in Sustaining the line and recovery of Tool Alarms and parts change
• Assisting new crews on their On-The-Job-Training (OJT) by acting as their buddy
• Provide Hands on Training for New PM Crew
• Lead/Participate in Continuous Improvement projects to meet Company Objectives

More About You:

• Diploma / ITC / NTC in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Mechanical/ Microelectronics
• 1-2 years’ experience in frontend semiconductor manufacturing environment preferred
• Fresh Diploma graduates with keen interests are welcome to apply, training will be provided
• Non-diploma holders with 3 years’ direct experience in CVD equipment can apply
• Basic engineering knowledge
• Some knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Able to perform 12-hour rotating shift
• Good ability and experience working in a multi-cultural environment
• Clear and concise presentation skills
• Team Player
• Strong sense of responsibility and Positive learning attitude

• Support CVD equipment engineering related activities to achieve operation targets and meet company objectives
• Participate in Continuous Improvement for Cost, Yield, Productivity and Uptime
• New Equipment Startup and Relocation to support Production Plan
• Tool Ownership and accountability for Uptime, Wafers scrap, Parts Management, Equipment Down Memo Reduction
• Troubleshoot and resolve Equipment issues to support daily production
• Review and optimize equipment maintenance procedures
• Consumable and spare management ensure adequate provision
• Participate in technology transfer from motherfab
• Participate in implementation of TSMC/NXP BKMs and generate SSMC BKMs
• Update of OIs and SOPs to document real and best practices
• Preventive Maintenance Planning and alignment of schedule with Manufacturing
• Conduct Training and certification for new PM crew in terms of Hands on and Theory
• Drive Manufacturing for Monitoring Time reduction to improve Uptime
• Lead/ Participate in Transform Platform and generate LSS, BKMs and Trade Secrets for value creation for the company
• Able to perform weekend 12-hour shift or Swing Shift or any shift pattern as defined by Manager

More About You:

• Bachelor in Engineering (Mechanical/Mechatronic/Electrical/Electronic)
• At least 1-3 years’ experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• 5 years direct experience in CVD equipment for Diploma holders
• Knowledge in the AMAT Centura/ HDP/ Producer/ Lam Sequel
• At least 3 years’ experience in same field will be consider for senior position
• A strong background and experience in semiconductor manufacturing
