JOBSCOPE :

• Supervising the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner.

• Liaising with other engineers to develop plans that improve production, costs, and labor required.

• Diagnosing problems in the production line and providing recommendations and training.

• Establishing safety procedures and protocols that take the workers' well-being into account, and that also minimize the carbon footprint.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Identify, develop, and deploy AI use cases within AlMg Substrate manufacturing, targeting yield improvement, defect reduction, and equipment downtime minimization across Plate, Wash, and Polish processes.  
• Build predictive and prescriptive models using available internal AI tools on manufacturing process data extracted from MES, ERP, and IoT/sensor sources.  
• Apply statistical analysis techniques including SPC, DOE, Cpk analysis, hypothesis testing, and multivariate analysis to uncover KPIV-KPOV relationships in substrate manufacturing processes.  
• Develop and maintain end-to-end(Substrate-Media-HDD) analytics pipelines - from data extraction and preparation through model training, validation, and production deployment.  
• Create self-serve data dashboards and automated reports using Spotfire to support real-time Cpk, Yield, and SPC monitoring for the manufacturing line.  
• Support AI-driven root cause analysis for quality excursions, reducing manual investigation cycle time.  
• Provide engineering support for Substrate manufacturing process issues, applying data science tools to accelerate root cause identification and corrective action deployment.  
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Process, Quality, Test/FA, and Metrology teams to integrate analytics capabilities into existing engineering workflows.

We’re searching for an Associate Equipment Engineer to be part of our Thin Film CVD department diverse team of talent. You will be responsible for supporting Thin Film Equipment startup, maintenance and related activities to support daily production and achieve operation targets.

What you will be working on:

• To assist CVD equipment engineers to sustain equipment performance and perform schedule & ad hoc preventive maintenance related activities to achieve operation goals
• Perform 12-hour shift duties to support the running of Production and ensure equipment readiness and worthiness for production
• Ensure good PM quality and PM success rate for good Uptime
• Planning of Daily PM schedule for negotiations with Manufacturing
• Maintain good 6s in work environment before and after PM
• Parts ownership to ensure sufficient parts for basic Preventive Maintenance Activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve Issues encountered during PM
• Assist Duty Engineers in Sustaining the line and recovery of Tool Alarms and parts change
• Assisting new crews on their On-The-Job-Training (OJT) by acting as their buddy
• Provide Hands on Training for New PM Crew
• Lead/Participate in Continuous Improvement projects to meet Company Objectives

More About You:

• Diploma / ITC / NTC in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Mechanical/ Microelectronics
• 1-2 years’ experience in frontend semiconductor manufacturing environment preferred
• Fresh Diploma graduates with keen interests are welcome to apply, training will be provided
• Non-diploma holders with 3 years’ direct experience in CVD equipment can apply
• Basic engineering knowledge
• Some knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Able to perform 12-hour rotating shift

More About You:

• At least 1-3 years’ experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• 5 years direct experience in CVD equipment for Diploma holders
• Knowledge in the AMAT Centura/ HDP/ Producer/ Lam Sequel
• At least 3 years’ experience in same field will be consider for senior position
• A strong background and experience in semiconductor manufacturing

We’re searching for a Principal Engineer to be part of our Manufacturing Department diverse team of talent.

Job Descriptions:

• Support the Section Senior Manager/ Manager in all manufacturing-related issue and work with supporting departments in identifying solution and successful implementation across all 4 shifts
• Resolve and handle line-related issues and to understand all equipment capacities / constraints so as to identify, handle, prevent and resolve bottleneck situations
• Initiate to identify issue and highlight issue to management
• Lead, coordinate and execute improvement programs in manufacturing operations in his/her Section
• Facilitate, lead or participate in Transform program, cost reduction and productivity improvement projects.
• Ensure proper documentation and data-integrity
• Ensure safety, discipline and housekeeping compliance by all personnel and take actions on violators
• Provide mentorship, training and guidance to fellow/ new Manufacturing Engineers/ Leaders
• Chair off-shift production meetings

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or any related discipline
• Min 5 years relevant wafer fab manufacturing experience in at least one of the areas in Thin Film, Diffusion, Etch, Photo, Test and Production Control
• Well versed in every manufacturing aspect in current section plus some knowledge in 1 other section.
• Have independently or as part of a team; completed at least 1 improvement project in manufacturing operations
