The company serves leading foodservice, retail, hospitality and institutional customers across Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Position Summary
The Key Account & Sales Manager is responsible for managing strategic customer relationships, driving revenue growth, securing new business opportunities, and ensuring the successful execution of customer projects from onboarding through commercialization.
The role focuses on growing existing key accounts while identifying and developing new opportunities in foodservice, retail, hospitality, airline catering, convenience stores, chain restaurants, distributors and OEM manufacturing sectors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Key Account Management
- Manage and develop relationships with assigned key accounts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers.
- Conduct regular business reviews with customers.
- Understand customer requirements and identify opportunities for product expansion.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Monitor customer performance, sales trends and growth opportunities.
2. Business Development & Sales
- Identify and acquire new customers for OEM manufacturing and branded products.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Build a robust sales pipeline and maintain CRM records.
- Attend industry exhibitions, networking events and customer meetings.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Prepare sales forecasts and business plans.
3. Project Commercialisation
- Coordinate with R&D, Production, Procurement, QA and Logistics teams to ensure successful product launches.
- Manage customer onboarding and commercialization timelines.
- Follow up on product development projects and customer approvals.
- Monitor launch performance and customer feedback.
4. Pricing & Contract Management
- Prepare quotations, pricing proposals and commercial agreements.
- Negotiate pricing, supply agreements and annual contracts.
- Monitor product profitability and recommend price adjustments where required.
- Support contract renewals and customer tenders.
5. Forecasting & Demand Planning
- Obtain customer forecasts and monitor demand trends.
- Coordinate with production planning teams to ensure supply continuity.
- Manage inventory-related discussions with customers.
- Support annual budgeting and sales forecasting exercises.
6. Reporting & Administration
- Prepare weekly sales reports and pipeline updates.
- Track KPIs and account performance.
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
- Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to management.
