Purpose of this role

To provide camera works, setup and camera operation in broadcast standard environment for all TV Production, OB and Studios events.

Job Scope

Executes professional camera work across diverse settings, including controlled studio sets and dynamic outdoor live broadcasts. The scope of the role demands a high degree of operational agility, as shift patterns and dates are dictated by broadcast schedules and live event requirements.

Job Description

• Ensure camera system is set up according to production plan which includes the optical, electronic special effects and autocue system
• Assist cameraman in performing basic camera work on various operational modes (i.e Pedestals, Tracks, Tripods, Handheld or Gimbal)
• Work with stakeholders during production to ensure visuals are captured, i.e. camera position, techniques and angles of shots
• Keep up to date with industry filming methods and equipment, receptive to innovative ways of filming

Job Requirements

• Nitec in Electronic / Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Film Production
• Preferably 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience
• Good working knowledge of camera systems, lenses and camera support equipment, assist in maintaining camera equipment
• Knowledge in Jibs, Gimbals and Steadi-Camera
• Able to solve problems on the spot to ensure output quality is not compromised
• Able to work shifts and weekends

Purpose of this role

Provide both creative input and technical execution for audio in a broadcast-standard environment across TV productions, outside broadcasts (OB), and studio events.

Scope of this role

Handles setup, mixing, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure clean, reliable audio during live or recorded production.

Job Description

• Support the planning and execution of audio strategies to meet the required sound specifications for TV production
• Assist with basic TV broadcast audio mixing, Front-of-House (FOH), and stage monitoring operations, ensuring consistent audio quality for both live and recorded productions
• Maintain accurate records and inventory of sound equipment and track the status of items undergoing repairs

• NITEC in Electronics/Electrical Engineering/Audio/Video Field or Diploma in Audio Engineering / Film, Sound and Video
• 1 to 3 years of experience in Audio/Broadcast Industry
• Basic networking knowledge
• Strong communication skills; responsible, organised, flexible, and a supportive team player
• Problem solving skills, troubleshooting etc.
• Able to work shifts
• Physically fit to work in outdoor environments
• Able to work at height

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Producer and Executive Producer in all pre-production, production and post-production matters.
• Assist in liaison work with internal production units and external companies.
• Work with the production team to prepare/break down the finalized scripts for production. This includes arranging/scheduling and attending production meetings, location scouting, audition/casting meetings, set design meetings and script reads/rehearsals with the talents.
• Assist the producer on location/in studio during production with regards to crew, cast or crowd control. Requisition for props and costumes. Ensure that all props and costumes are ready for actual filming.
• Ensure there is continuity of costumes and props during production.
• Help with all duties/follow up for post-production which includes dialogue dubbing, VFX, roller credits etc.

• GCE "A" level / Diploma holder in any studies with a strong interest in the media industry
• Preferably at least 1 year of experience in production or a production-related environment (TV or Film).
• Applicants without relevant experience but who possess a strong interest in the media industry are also welcome to apply.
• Able and willing to work irregular hours when required.
• Able to speak, read, and write Chinese to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking departments and personnel.
• Ability to read, write, and converse in basic English.
