Position Summary

The Key Account & Sales Manager is responsible for managing strategic customer relationships, driving revenue growth, securing new business opportunities, and ensuring the successful execution of customer projects from onboarding through commercialization.

The role focuses on growing existing key accounts while identifying and developing new opportunities in foodservice, retail, hospitality, airline catering, convenience stores, chain restaurants, distributors and OEM manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Key Account Management

• Manage and develop relationships with assigned key accounts.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers.
• Conduct regular business reviews with customers.
• Understand customer requirements and identify opportunities for product expansion.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Monitor customer performance, sales trends and growth opportunities.

2. Business Development & Sales

• Identify and acquire new customers for OEM manufacturing and branded products.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Build a robust sales pipeline and maintain CRM records.
• Attend industry exhibitions, networking events and customer meetings.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
• Prepare sales forecasts and business plans.

3. Project Commercialisation

• Coordinate with R&D, Production, Procurement, QA and Logistics teams to ensure successful product launches.
• Manage customer onboarding and commercialization timelines.
• Follow up on product development projects and customer approvals.
• Monitor launch performance and customer feedback.

4. Pricing & Contract Management

• Prepare quotations, pricing proposals and commercial agreements.
• Negotiate pricing, supply agreements and annual contracts.
• Monitor product profitability and recommend price adjustments where required.
• Support contract renewals and customer tenders.

5. Forecasting & Demand Planning

• Obtain customer forecasts and monitor demand trends.
• Coordinate with production planning teams to ensure supply continuity.
• Manage inventory-related discussions with customers.
• Support annual budgeting and sales forecasting exercises.

6. Reporting & Administration

• Prepare weekly sales reports and pipeline updates.
• Track KPIs and account performance.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
• Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to management.

Job Responsibilities:

• To participate in procedures for Supplier Management process such as supplier on-boarding, selection and approval process by assessing and evaluating supplier profile; visiting and auditing of supplier facility and process, initiating supplier quality agreement review, and establishing good partnership with suppliers
• To evaluate and monitor supplier performance and collaboration with suppliers to identify opportunities for enhancements and improvements
• To support new supplier/material qualification by ensuring that all supplier on-boarding related documentations and action are complete, and that quality of purchased material meets the required standards and expectations
• To communicate and work closely with external supplier sand internal stakeholders (Procurement, Warehouse and Manufacturing) on supplier/material qualification related projects, material quality related issues. To address on purchased material failures/defects and derive proper preventive and corrective action plans through SCAR system
• Implement quality inspection standards on incoming and outgoing inspections
• Responsible for timely closure of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) , non-conformance investigation reports and customer complaints and publish reports on quality performance
• Lead the Material Review Board (MRB) meeting involving members from production, engineering and quality departments to conduct root cause analysis, address quality issues, implement corrective actions and review its effectiveness
• Maintain updated and accurate documents and records on ISO 9001, 14001 and 13485 system (includes Quality Manual, Procedures, Work Instructions, Forms etc) to ensure system compliance and ready for Management Review
• Plan and conduct internal and external audits to ensure readiness of all sections for third party certification body, management review and customer audits
• Review audit findings and develop action plans to drive continuous improvements
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Possess minimum Diploma in Quality Management / Engineering / Manufacturing or related field with minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in handling audits and ISO documentation in manufacturing industries
• Knowledge in Supplier Management
• Knowledge of quality Management Standards such as ISO 9001, 14001, 13485 and ISO 22301
• Knowledge in Potential Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA), Control Plans .and Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility (GR&R)
• Familiar with 8D and 5W problem solving methodology

Inventory & Asset Control

• Monitor inventory levels of critical spares, work-in-progress, and finished jobs.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Prepare and review operational, safety, and production reports.

• Process and reconcile intercompany transactions, including management fees, recharges, intercompany loans, and dividend entries
• Maintain the fixed asset register and process depreciation journals for APG
• Process and reconcile Singapore payroll entries for APG employees, including CPF contributions and related accruals
• Prepare monthly management accounts and balance sheet schedules for APG
• Liaise with the corporate secretary, auditors, and tax agents on APG's statutory and compliance requirements

Systems& Process

• Work with the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) to extract and validate financial data
• Support process improvements and standardisation of reporting across group entities
• Assist in onboarding new entities into the group reporting framework

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or Finance; CPA (Singapore), ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a group consolidation or group reporting function
• Prior experience in a Big 4 audit firm is preferred
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment (precision engineering, medical devices, or related industries preferred)
• Experience with Singapore-listed companies or other listed group structures (ASX, Bursa Malaysia, HKEX, etc.) is an advantage
• Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics / Business Central is a plus
• Strong technical knowledge of SFRS(I) / IFRS, particularly standards relevant to consolidation (SFRS(I) 10, 3, 1-21, 1-36)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, financial modelling); experience with consolidation tools an advantage
• Ability to handle multi-currency consolidation and foreign exchange accounting

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Group Finance Director in developing, implementing and monitoring the compliance of internal control policies and procedures.
• Review consolidated financial statements, management reports and budget variance analysis of the Group.
• Co-ordinate and lead the Finance Managers of subsidiaries to perform group financial activities.
• Ensure all financial, accounting and analytical reports are prepared according to the management policies and accounting standards.
• Coordinate, participate and deliver insights into the financial reports in the management meeting and board meeting.
• Manage relationship with external auditors for financial audits.
• Complete and submit all GST returns and ensure compliance.
• Review CIT returns to be submitted by Tax Agent.
• Lead the preparation of annual budgets, analysis and presentation to Management.
• Oversee the costing function for the manufacturing activities in Singapore.
• Supervision of local & overseas Accounts staff with full spectrum of accounting responsibilities.
• Perform any other tasks as the need arises.

Job Requirements:

• Possess minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with 5-8 years of working experience, including experience in manufacturing costing, and supervisory experience.
• Prior working experience with Microsoft Business Central is beneficial.
• Current CA/CMA membership or equivalent would be an added advantage.
• Some travelling within Asia is required.
