Commercial Product Manager (Singapore)

Position Purpose
The Commercial Product Manager is thestrategic architect responsible for translating Kingenta Asia Pacific’sscientific innovations into quantifiable commercial value across theAsia-Pacific region. Based in the Singapore regional hub, you will lead thelifecycle management of our specialty fertilizer and biostimulant portfolioswhile driving high-level B2B technology enablement for regional fertilizerproducers.
Your mission is twofold:
- Direct Value Conversion: Drive the adoption of Kingenta Asia Pacific protocols among major plantation operators by proving the economic impact of Nutrient Use Efficiency (NUE) and Return on Investment (ROI).
- B2B Strategic Partnerships: Scale our "Intel Inside" model by partnering with regional fertilizer manufacturers to license our proprietary inhibitors and enhancers, elevating their portfolios into next-generation, high-value solutions.
Key Responsibilities
· StrategicPortfolio Leadership: Manage the regional commercial roadmap for oneof three high-value business lines: Specialty Fertilizers (CRF/WSF),Biostimulants, and integrated Crop Nutrition Programs, ensuring the categorydelivers its value proposition.
· Value-BasedPlantation Conversion: Lead the engagement and conversion of majorplantation operators in the Oil Palm and commercial grower sectors by focusingon proving Return on Investment (ROI) and Nutrient Use Efficiency (NUE).
· B2BTechnology Licensing: Develop and execute the commercial frameworkfor licensing proprietary technology of inhibitors and enhancers to regionalfertilizer producers, enabling them to elevate their product portfolios intonext-generation, high-value solutions.
· RegionalPortfolio Lifecycle Management:Manage the product roadmap for specialty fertilizers/biostimulants/cropnutrition programs across the Asia-Pacific, ensuring all offerings align withthe "Beyond the Bag" science-driven brand identity.
· LocalValidation Trial (LVT) Oversight:Oversee the technical-commercial protocols of the LVT program in key regional marketsto generate localized data-backed proof of product efficacy and economic value.
· SalesEnablement & Toolkit Development:Create and deliver high-impact technical sales toolkits and training programsthat empower country teams to transition customer conversations from"Price per Bag" to "Value per Hectare".
· StrategicMarket Intelligence: Collaborate with the Country Manager to conductresearch into competitor technology movements and regional industry trends torefine the "Biological Insurance" product positioning.
Candidate Requirements
· Experience: 8+ years in Product Management or TechnicalSales within the Ag-Tech/Fertilizer industry.
· Scientific& Analytical Mindset:Demonstrates a deep commitment to evidence-based selling, with the ability totranslate complex agronomic data into clear commercial value.
· Expertise: Proven track record in fertilizer andagrochemical product management and business development. Experience withSpecialty Fertilizers or Biostimulants is highly preferred.
· TechnicalKnowledge: Understanding of ESG compliance (e.g., RSPO forOil Palm) is considered a significant asset.
· Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Agronomy, Trade,Business, or Chemical Engineering.
· Language: Fluency in English and Mandarin.
· SoftSkills: Strong intercultural communication and a"boots-on-the-ground" entrepreneurial mindset.
