Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on coordinator to run the daily ground operations at our container yard. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily tracking of containers, coordinating the work schedules of our reach stacker operators, and handling daily customer service emails. You will play a key role in making sure truckers experience quick turnaround times and operations run safely.

Daily Responsibilities

• Ground Yard Operations & Tracking

  • Conduct daily physical and system counts (census) of the container yard.

  • Keep container inventory records updated daily in the ERP system and Google Sheets.

  • Perform container surveys and upload container photos (COC) when dedicated surveyors are unavailable.

  • Report any equipment breakdowns and coordinate with the maintenance vendor for servicing.

• Customer Service & Coordination (Liaison)

  • Handle daily email correspondences from internal departments and external customers/truckers promptly.

  • Assist to resolve day-to-day ground issues regarding container movements or inventory shortages.

  • Attend regular operational meetings with the warehouse and other teams to coordinate daily work plans.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Head of Compliance to lead and enhance the compliance function at SGeBIZ, a MAS-regulated Major Payments Institution. • Support cost tracking for projects and maintenance works.
• Assist in obtaining and comparing quotations.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure quality work and compliance with requirements.

4. Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure works comply with safety standards, company SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation of work orders, quotations, and reports.
• Provide regular updates on project and maintenance status.

5. Stakeholder Communication

1. Coordinate with operations teams on schedules, disruptions, and completion timelines.
2. Escalate issues where necessary and ensure clear communication across stakeholders.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Building, Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in project coordination or maintenance (F&B/retail preferred)
• Basic understanding of M&E and renovation works
• Strong coordination, organisational, and communication skills
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment

Job Description

• Comply with the local construction code and approved Quality document.
• Assist project teams to identify quality requirements and develop Project Quality Plans for projects.
• Conduct inspection reports for all subcontractors work to ensure alignment with the quality standards.
• Assist Project Teams with control vendor performance/non-conformance issues and implement actions to correct non-compliance.
• Prepare and submit Request for Inspection (RFI) to consultant prior to official QA/QC inspection and testing activity.
• Carry out the execution of the project as per plan.
• Register all incoming materials and items for the project.
• Responsible for managing day to day lifting operations.
• Plan, organize, supervise and liaise closely with sub-contractors and operation teams on all ongoing lifting activities.
• Conduct routine checks and inspections of works on site to ensure compliance with authorities' and client’s requirements.
• Review project safety (e.g. lifting plans, etc.).
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required.
• Experienced in LTA MRT project is advantageous.
• Ability to work with tight deadlines.
• Work closely with project team to resolve technical issues.
• Good attitude and communication skills.
• Willing to multi-task.
• 6 working days per week.
