932 Design Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage interior design projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with our Design team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This is a site-heavy role and requires strong organization, decisiveness, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts calmly.
Main Responsibilities:
Project Planning : To develop a comprehensive project plan with project director, including defining project objectives, scope, timeline, and budget. Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and design team to understand project requirements and expectations.
Budgeting and Cost Control. Work closely with our QS to manage the project budget, , and ensuring adherence to financial constraints. Obtain cost estimates from suppliers and contractors, and negotiate pricing when necessary.
Material and Resource Selection: Work with the design team to select appropriate materials, furnishings, fixtures, and equipment for the project. Ensure that selections align with the designer and client's preferences, project goals, and budget.
Communication: Act as the main point of contact for clients, keeping them informed of project progress, milestones, and any changes. Maintain clear and regular communication with the design team, project team members and co-founder.
Project Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including drawings, specifications, change orders, and other relevant records.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an interior design office.
Good knowledge and understanding of AutoCAD System, proficiently utilizing the software's capabilities.
Possess positive mindset in communication with team members , clients, sub contractors and co-founders.
Team player with a execution grit.
Have a solid understanding of interior design principles, construction processes, and project management techniques is crucial for successful execution.
