We are looking for a hands-on Software Manager who has grown from a strong software development foundation into a technical leader. This role is ideal for someone with at least 7 years of software development experience who has progressed into leading teams and building systems from the ground up.

You will lead across-functional team across Product, Frontend, Backend, and QA, while remaining deeply involved in architecture and technical decision-making. You will play a critical role in designing and delivering a scalable, cloud-based platform that supports game deployment and management at a global scale

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership &Architecture

• Lead the design and development of a scalable, secure, cloud-based platform from the ground up
• Own system architecture, ensuring high performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Stay hands-on in both frontend and backend domains to guide engineering decisions
• Drive best practices in system design, coding standards, and software architecture
• Oversee the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including post-launch support

Platform & Delivery Ownership

• Define and execute the software roadmap aligned with business and product goals
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Deliver high-quality features on time, balancing speed and robustness
• Build and evolve a sustainable software delivery system, including CI/CD pipelines
• Provide Level 3 (L3)support for critical platform issues

Engineering Excellence

• Establish strong DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring
• Ensure secure coding practices and platform security standards are implemented
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and team productivity
• Maintain high standards for code quality, version control, and system reliability

People Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team across multiple disciplines

Qualifications & Experience

• 7+ years of software development experience before moving into technical leadership or manager roles
• Demonstrated experience building a software delivery platform or system from scratch
• Strong hands-on experience in both frontend and backend development
• Solid expertise in software architecture and system design
• Experience building and scaling production systems
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong understanding of secure software development practices
• Experience working across the full SDLC
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced AI Product Manager with experience integrating AI technology with hardware and strong knowledge of consumer and/or commercial markets. Deep expertise in a specific technology domain (e.g, smart homes, IoT, robotics or AI-driven platforms) is preferred. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision, technical understanding and market insight to drive AI product innovation and growth in an emerging strategic area for the company.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research & Product Strategy

• Conduct comprehensive industry market research, demand analysis and competitive benchmarking across target regions and countries.

• Identify new product opportunities and new application scenarios leveraging AI capabilities, based on market trends and existing product capabilities and communicate insights promptly to internal stakeholders.

• Define and maintain a clear product strategy, supporting the overall product roadmap and aligning with company objectives.

• Translate strategic goals and market insights into actionable product requirements, user stories and marketing inputs for cross-functional teams.

• Lead and support user research initiatives to uncover customer needs, pain points, workflows and adoption barriers.

Go-to-Market (GTM), Launch & Sales Enablement

• Collaborate closely with Engineering teams across the full development lifecycle to ensure alignment from concept to launch.

• Drive launch readiness planning, including AI product positioning, messaging, sales collateral and promotional initiatives.

• Support the sales team with product knowledge, training materials, competitive insights and customer-facing content to achieve commercial targets.

• Prioritise the Asia region as the first launch market before initiating broader global marketing efforts.

• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to execute new product launch promotions and market education activities.

Product Lifecycle & Performance Management

• Manage the full product lifecycle, including planning and coordination for early-stage introduction, growth and maturity phases.

• Track product performance post-launch, analyse user feedback, customer demand signals and operational data to drive continuous improvements.

• Formulate standardised product packages or bundles based on market needs and internal capabilities.

• Collaborate with Product Owners in agile processes, ensuring strong alignment between market needs, product requirements and delivery timelines.

• Identify opportunities to optimise product value, enhance user experience and strengthen competitive differentiation.

Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or related fields.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Product Management or related functions.

• Experience in the consumer market, preferably within the Asia region.

• Experience with AI applications or a background in a related field is preferred.

• Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Experience supporting product launches, sales enablement or market-facing initiatives.

• Ability to manage multiple projects across regions and work effectively with headquarters.

• Independent and self-driven, able to take ownership of tasks and deliver results with minimal supervision.

• Fluency in Chinese is a plus for effective interaction with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.

Job Description

• To superintend all technical and safety matters concerning Company vessels
• To implement technical and safety policies of the Company on these vessels
• Carrying out repair maintenance and servicing of vessels with instructions of the Fleet Manager
• Carrying out negotiations with Class Surveyors relative to the surveys on board vessels, and reporting to the Fleet Manager
• Advise the Master and Chief Engineer of planned maintenance, and ensure maintenance work are carried out by the ship’s staff
• Examine vessel’s machinery spaces with reference to cleanliness and progress of maintenance by the ship’s staff
• Perform damage surveys on vessels and completion of necessary costing, reports accounts, abstracts, etc.
• Proceed to ports as may be necessary, on the instruction of the Fleet Manager, for the purpose of supervising repairs and restoration of the Company’s vessels and equipment
• Preparation of additional proposal for new regulations fulfilment if necessary with the approval of Regulatory Authority or Recognised Organization
• Ensure ship is able to fulfil the regulations as above
• When visiting a vessel of carrying out a dry-docking, he will be responsible for dealing with
  * All technical matters locally
  * All matters connected with the repairs, servicing and sailing of the vessel and their programming for prompt dispatch
  * Ensure that all service instructions are speedily dispatched from the ship to the relevant office department or agents
  * Carry out a complete general inspection of the vessel and report to the Fleet Manager on return
  * The maintenance of safety equipment to legislative requirements and Company standards onboard vessels
  * Submit for approval and thereafter monitoring budgets for his area of expenditure responsibility and reporting variances
• Report relevant information to the Fleet Manager regarding sea-going personnel

Job Requirements

• COC Class 1 or 2 holders with sailing experience on oil tankers
• At least 1 years’ experience as a Technical Superintendent in ship management operations
• Foreign going Chief Engineer with sea experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects and good organization skills
• Analytical, able to work independently, results-oriented, resourceful, and pro-active
