Architecture & Solution Design:

• Drive end-to-end architecture and design for several key applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security in alignment with industry best practices.

Technical Leadership:

• Lead development teams across multiple projects, guiding junior developers, enforcing coding standards, and ensuring delivery quality and timelines.

Client Engagement:

• Act as a trusted advisor to the client, consistently engaging with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, define solutions, and align technology outcomes with business goals.

Delivery Ownership:

• Play a critical role in planning, execution, and delivery of complex initiatives, taking accountability for successful rollouts in production environments.

Innovation & Improvement:

• Proactively identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements, contributing to the modernization of legacy systems and adoption of emerging technologies.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of relevant experience in software development
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership or technical mentoring role

About the Role

As a Custom Software Engineer, you will design and deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions tailored to business needs. You will play a key role in driving technical excellence, collaborating across teams, and contributing to strategic decisions that shape system performance and reliability. This role offers the opportunity to lead by example and build deep subject matter expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance custom software components aligned with evolving business requirements

• Apply strong engineering principles to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between technical delivery and business goals

• Analyze complex technical challenges and propose effective, sustainable solutions

• Take ownership of team deliverables and support decision-making across multiple teams

• Guide and mentor team members by sharing knowledge and promoting best practices

• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and standards

• Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and adherence to established engineering practices

Required Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Custom Application Development

• Strong experience in software design, architecture, and implementation

• Advanced knowledge of Software Engineering principles and best practices

• Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments

• Proven ability to analyze complex problems and deliver effective solutions

• Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Ability to take ownership, lead initiatives, and manage responsibilities independently

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Experience with modern development frameworks and cloud-based architectures

• Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, or automation tools

• Strong understanding of performance optimization and system scalability

• Experience contributing to enterprise-level application development
