Senior Accounts Executive
We are seeking a capable and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive to support the full spectrum of accounting functions. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting and compliance matters.
Candidates with prior experience in a manufacturing environment will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
- Prepare timely monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Perform month-end closing activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Monitor and analyse manufacturing costs, including material, labour, and overhead.
- Conduct variance analysis and inventory reconciliation.
- Ensure proper inventory valuation and cost control procedures.
- Manage and ensure compliance with LHDN e-Invoicing requirements, including invoice validation, submission, and monitoring of rejections.
- Ensure proper documentation, record-keeping, and audit trail for e-Invoices.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with SST, corporate tax, and other statutory requirements.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management.
- Experience in ERP/accounting systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
