The incumbent will be responsible for the efficient execution of the technical and purchase key processes to support the company's fleet of vessels. He/she should have at least a year of experience in a similar function with some purchasing experience.

Responsibilities:

TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, coordinate and ensure timely follow-up of class and flag requirements in order that the vessel attains sea worthiness and commercial readiness.
  - Determine class / flag requirements and apply to class / flag administration for surveys, inspections, related issues and special requests.

PURCHASING RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and Issue Purchase order (PO)

• Experience delivering COTS platform implementations as well as customized application development projects.
• Experience delivering projects within a System Integrator (SI) environment.
• Proven experience managing onshore and offshore development teams in distributed delivery models.
• Experience managing multi-solution provider delivery environments involving external partners and subcontractors.
• Experience managing projects within structured governance frameworks including RAID management, milestone tracking, and change control processes.
• Experience managing client-facing delivery engagements with multiple stakeholders (senior management).
• Experience leading and delivering projects within Singapore Government environments

Technical Exposure

• Good understanding of enterprise IT environments including applications, integrations, and supporting infrastructure.
• Ability to engage effectively with architects, developers, and technical specialists.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or similar environments will be advantageous.

Certifications

• PMP, CITPM, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certifications mandatory.

System Design & Architecture

• Define overall system structure (database, backend, frontend, integrations)

• Ensure scalability, security, and performance

• Review and approve technical designs

Development Oversight

• Lead the development team (developers, UI/UX, QA)

• Break down requirements into tasks
