Job description:

• To support the business expansion in ASEAN, Korea and Japan.
• Drive design-ins of thyristors, MOSFETs, IGBTs, diodes, and other power semiconductor devices.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify and pursue new business and design-in opportunities.
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to customers. Propose right devices based on customer's application requirements.
• Provide timely and quality technical support to customers on application and design-related issues.
• Monitor and keep good track record of design-in activities and ensure design-win is achieved.
• Collaborate with Application Engineer team to validate product performance and reliability in customer's applications.
• Initiate and follow up failure analysis when required. Work with internal quality and engineering teams to identify root-cause and countermeasures.
• Contributes to product roadmaps by providing feedback on customer/application requirements and market trends. Work closely with customers and internal teams to develop tailored solutions.
• Conduct technical seminars, product training, and application workshops for distributors, customers and internal teams.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Electronics Industry, with good knowledge of power electronics
• Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin (for effective communication with the China team). Able to fully understand customer’s needs and requirements
• This role may require frequent traveling, including international travels

Responsibilities:

• Design, development, testing and support of firmware/embedded software applications for microcontroller based wireless systems.
• Develop software communication protocols for wireless communication systems
• Drive technology/development projects in all phrases from specification to release.
• Read or understand electronics schematic and system design.
• Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure project delivery on time.
• Define and create product software specification including software architecture, feature descriptions and applications notes of the system
• Research technical issues and/or opportunities and provide recommendations.
• Participate in ad hoc software projects and assignments as required

Requirements:

• Degree in Electronic/Electrical/Computer Engineering/Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in real time embedded system including experience in Bluetooth related firmware/software development.
• Strong C/C++ language knowledge is a must
• Experience with Arm, Cortex based microcontroller and Airoha Bluetooth chipset is required
• Strong Knowledge of the communication transport protocol like I2C, SPI, UART and USB
• Understanding of the Bluetooth protocol and stack is a plus.
• Familiarity with DSP programming is an added advantage
• Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Able to manage one's own time efficiently

We are seeking an experienced and driven Principal Engineer to join the Facilities team, supporting advanced semiconductor manufacturing operations. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous operation of facility control and life safety systems within a wafer fabrication environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for facility control and life safety systems, ensuring stable and continuous operations aligned with required performance specifications

• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximise system uptime and reliability

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation, including system drawings, data records, and maintenance histories

• Lead and execute system upgrade and expansion projects, including:

  • Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)

  • Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems

  • Gas detection and life safety systems

  • Industrial instrumentation

  • IoT / Smart facility initiatives

• Support installation, testing, and commissioning of gas detection systems and interlocks for manufacturing equipment, working closely with tool owners and contractors

• Troubleshoot and resolve system faults, interruptions, and performance issues

• Prepare cost estimates, technical proposals, and project analyses

Requirements

• Degree or Master’s in Electrical, Electronic, Control Engineering, or related disciplines

• Approximately 5–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a wafer fabrication or similar high-tech manufacturing environment

• Hands-on experience with PLC and SCADA programming

• Strong knowledge in industrial automation, control systems, and safety systems

• Solid technical problem-solving and analytical skills

• Demonstrated leadership capability and ability to manage projects

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
