We are on the lookout for a Squad Lead to join our company who is well-versed in Agile processes and practices. You will provide strong technical leadership for the squad. You are proficient in facilitating collaboration and open communication, promoting creativity and accountability, and removing blockers where necessary. Key Responsibilities

• Be accountable for the technology direction, oversee adherence to technology, SDLC, and Agile standards and policies, and promote a culture of continuous improvement
• Drive technical improvements in the SDLC and automation frameworks, coming with a technical background in Backend development, Frontend development, or Mobile development.
• Be accountable for team productivity, quality, and delivery in accordance with timelines
• Plan and orchestrate the execution of tasks while functioning as an individual contributor
• Manage resource allocation and prioritization effectively
• Mitigate risks and remove impediments that impact team cohesion or project timelines
• Monitor progress, highlight issues encountered, flag potential roadblocks early, mitigate risks, and manage issues appropriately.
• Stay on top of delivery efficiency and unblock any impediments to the technical delivery for the team
• Review and approve PR’s of the development team, maintaining vigilant and effective code quality

• Mentor team members through constructive feedback and inspire them to achieve optimal performance

Prerequisites

• 7+ years of experience in leading technical teams.
• Experience in a software development role, delivering high-quality applications.
• In-depth knowledge of industry standard best practices and full SDLC, and proficiency with Agile methodologies.
• Substantial expertise in full-stack development technologies in frontend or backend, tools, design solutioning, and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Possess software architecture and design skills to guide the development of solutions that are secure, scalable, and reliable enterprise applications delivery.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Foresighted behavioral attitude for effective delivery management
• Hands-on experience and close to the modern technology stack

We are seeking a Java lead to join a collaborative, Agile team. You will be responsible for building highly available, distributed and enterprise Java-based applications, where system performance is critical. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze user requirements
• Work with other members of a planning team to develop a prototype plan for an enterprise system, including what key features system users require in the system as well as integration strategies to update existing systems that will transition into the new system built down the road.
• Develop modules of the initial enterprise system plan and work with the development team by coding advanced portions of the modules and delegating routine coding to junior Java developers
• Conduct the testing of completed code modules with the help of junior Java developers, fixing code as needed to ensure a smooth system deployment with the intended functionality
• Lead the Change - Change the way the client perceives coding and documentation by identifying, interpreting, and implementing new developments with a focus on problem-solving and improvement. Extract and integrate cross-project components and libraries. Build a culture where development is exciting and fun!
• Provide Expertise - Scale continuous integration and delivery on a global level and teach others how to use it to mitigate risk and compliance issues. Contribute to an existing continuous integration and delivery community/tool.
• Accountable to work with the team and the architect to execute on the technical design and solutions.
• Leadership - Acknowledge that there are different programming paradigms and can argue where a certain paradigm/language is applicable. Serve as the go-to moderator or mentor for members to seek technical guidance from.
• Continuous Improvement – Work with tribe coaches, platform leads, and ITALs to drive the execution and implementation of innovative ideas and initiatives that benefit the platform and project.
• Plan and execute all deployments of system features and monitor for successful integration, maintaining the system throughout its lifecycle
• Build, test, and support mobile/web applications
• Recommend software solutions to emerging needs in banking functionality and reporting ability
• Prioritize, assign, and execute tasks throughout the software development life cycle
• Ensure our applications are secure and up-to-date

Prerequisites

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & Systems Analysis, Science (Computer Studies), or a related field
• At least more than 8 years of experience in Java/J2EE, SQL, JSP, Servlet, JDBC, RESTful Services, Web Services, XML, JSON
• Experience as a team leader.
• Strong experience in application development frameworks such as EJB, Camel, Spring, and Hibernate on the Java platform
• Knowledge of Oracle, DB2, or a similar database management system
• CI tools experience ie Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity, Maven
• Experience in development using web technologies
