Job Summary
You will manage pre- and post-contract activities including cost estimating, contract administration, and claims preparation while providing AutoCAD support and handling HR and administrative functions to support operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to provide accurate AutoCAD sketches, shop drawings, or construction drawings
- Perform cost estimating, quantity take-offs, claims preparation, variations, and final account settlements to support project financial management
- Administer contract processes including reviewing contracts, preparing tender and contract documentation, conducting tender analyses, and reporting outcomes
- Review sub-contractor claims and coordinate materials planning and delivery to ensure timely site operations
- Manage Ministry of Manpower (MOM) matters including work permit applications, renewals, and cancellations to ensure regulatory compliance
- Maintain and update employee personnel records and databases to support HR operations
- Process monthly payroll accurately and timely to ensure employee compensation
- Prepare Notification of Commencement of Employment (NCE) applications via the SP Portal to comply with employment regulations
- Monitor Building and Construction Authority (BCA) workhead applications, GST filing, AIS, and tax filing procedures to maintain statutory compliance
- Assist in preparing weekly and monthly HR reports to inform management decisions
- Develop and update administrative systems to improve operational efficiency and data management
- Compile and prepare reports, presentation slides, and correspondence for communication across departments
- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by the Operations Manager to support business needs
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Specialized knowledge or qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent to enhance contract and cost management expertise
