• Present cases for discussion and engages actively on formal platforms such as departmental or inter-departmental meetings for the purpose of sharing, reviewing and clarifying of atypical, difficult issues
• Maintain constant networking with MSW, Counsellor, staff nurses, nursing officers and relevant medical staff / authorities of other organisations
• Undertake more workload or difficult cases when required
• Orientate and On-Job-Trains new staff and / or attached interns on their performance of duties
• Participate in in-service education programme and follow-up to ensure optimum transfer of learning
• Present at Journal club the works and development in palliative and end of life care setting of PSS to other disciplines in the hospice
• Document all social interventions for record, within the expected time frame set by the department

Requirements:

• Degree in Social Work and / or Master in Counselling preferably.
• Registered with the Singapore Association of Social Workers for Social Workers or Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC).
• At least 4 to 9 years of relevant experience in a healthcare environment preferably.
• Bilingual and ability to communicate in local dialects preferred.

Responsibilities for Inpatient role:
