• To assign duties, and inspect work performed in accordance to the "Daily Inspection Checklist" to ensure conformance to specifications and standards.
• To investigate complaints / feedbacks and take corrective actions where relevant.
• To upkeep site cleaning supplies chemicals, consumables and equipment to ensure they are available and serviceable at all times.
• To take regular inventory check of cleaning supplies and maintain all cleaning equipment to ensure seamless execution of daily cleaning activities.

Job requirements:

• Has relevant working experience.
• Working knowledge of basic computer skills will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team to perform Harbour Support and Services (HSS) tasks safely and efficiently
• Moor ships by handling berthing ropes during ship arrival and departure in the harbour
• Manage the replenishment of ship supplies to ensure timely delivery and readiness
• Provide and manage power supply connections for ships, including handling ship power cables
• Conduct risk assessments for each task to identify and mitigate potential hazards
• Oversee HSS operations on site to ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures
• Plan and schedule daily work assignments for the team to meet operational demands
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers to coordinate and communicate work progress
• Ensure all workers receive adequate training to perform their tasks safely and competently

Required competencies and certifications

• Physically fit to carry heavy loads and pull ropes and electrical cables in physically demanding conditions such as heat and dust
• Able to lead and manage a team effectively

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• O Level / NTC in any engineering field
• Minimum 3 years of working experience, preferably in the marine or maritime industry
• Experience working at ports with rope lashing, mooring, and berthing operations of vessels or containers
