We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant (Site Costing) to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and monitor project/site costing.
- Analyze project costs and identify cost variances.
- Verify supplier invoices, purchase orders, and delivery orders.
- Prepare costing reports for management.
- Monitor material, labour, and subcontractor costs.
- Assist in monthly account closing and account reconciliations.
- Prepare SST reports and assist in SST submission, ensuring compliance with the latest regulations.
- Maintain accurate accounting and costing records.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Purchasing Department, and external auditors/tax agents when required.
- Perform other ad hoc duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of relevant working experience.
- Experience in the construction industry and project/site costing is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of SST preparation and compliance is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (AutoCount)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while meeting deadlines.
