• Proactive analysis of variances between actual costing and standard costing.
• Compile and analyze product related costing and reporting.

• Work closely with various sourcing departments to have BOM cost in time manner and accuracy.
• To check and monitor BOM to maintain standard costs, selling price, product structures is accurate.
• Perform and coordinate monthly physical stock count for raw material and work in progress, review and verify stock report.
• Responsible for preparing monthly cost consumption report.
• Responsible to review and update standard cost change from time to time.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Senior Executive, Accounts & Finance to manage the company’s full set of accounts and support daily finance operations. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience in financial reporting, audit, tax matters, account reconciliation, and cash flow monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Handle full set of accounts and ensure accurate and timely closing of monthly accounts.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and management reports.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded in the accounting system.
• Perform monthly reconciliations, including bank reconciliation, AP/AR reconciliation, and inter-company accounts where applicable.

Accounts Payable, Receivable & Cash Flow

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

• Monitor daily cash flow and treasury activities.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and coordinate with clients, suppliers, contractors, consultants, and vendors on payment or billing matters.

Audit, Tax & Compliance

• Assist in audit and tax matters, including preparation of supporting schedules and required documents.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree, or Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-4 years of relevant working experience in full set accounts, financial reporting, audit, and tax matters.
• Experience in property development, construction, or project-based accounting will be an added advantage.
• Audit firm experience, especially Big Four exposure, will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, tax requirements, and relevant regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; knowledge of SQL & MYOB accounting software will be an added advantage.

Chrisjac are looking for a qualified Accountant to assume the role of Group Finance Manager with an established group of companies engaged mainly in property development and construction activities. The company has filed its prospectus with Bursa Malaysia for a proposed initial public listing on the ACE Market.  

About the job

This is a full time permanent position, reporting directly to Group Chief Finance Officer of the group in Malaysia. 

The role will be to manage the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions of the company and several subsidiary companies within the group. 

Key responsibilities:

·Responsible for quarterly and yearly reports for Bursa Malaysia announcements.

·Responsible for the Group consolidated accounts on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.

·Responsible for the financial management of the company and the Group.

·Manage taxation, audit and all related matters.

The candidate

·To be considered for this senior accounting role, candidate must possess a Bachelor degree in Accounting qualification or ACCA/CIMA graduate. 

·Member of MIA.

·Preference for candidates who are in age group 35-45

·Ideally candidate with prior experience in PLC set up will be an asset. 

·The successful applicant will be strong in consolidation of group accounts.

·Good working knowledge on Main Board Listing requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities and MFRS/IFRS. 

·A confident and well organized self-starter with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

·Good command of spoken and written English is required with good writing skills.

·A good working knowledge of accounting standards (FRS & IAS),taxation and company law will definitely a prerequisite to be considered for this role.

Currently they are actively looking for a fully qualified accountant to become part of the Finance team to manage the full functions of accounting and finance of the organization at Bandar Bukit Jalil in outskirts of Kuala Lumpur. 

The job role

This role is full time permanent position managerial role within the Finance Department.

The incumbent will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions within the Finance Department. Main responsibilities will be to manage full set of accounts and preparation of financial and management reporting.

Key duties:

*Production of month end management accounts including P&L,balance sheet and cash flow forecasting.

*Management of accruals,prepayments,depreciation and petty cash month journals.

*Reconciliation of monthly key ledger balance sheet and profit and loss accounts.

*Maintain accounting records and database.

Candidate Profile and attributes

We are looking for candidates who would have a professional qualification ACCA or CIMA. Candidates with bachelor degree in Accounting will be duly considered.

-Malaysian age below 50.

-5-10 years of work experience in finance and accounting functions.

To be considered for this role, candidates must be proficient in spoken and written English plus conversant in BM and Mandarin.

Candidates who are residing within 30 KM radius within the vicinity of Bukit Jalil will be considered most convenient to take up this position. These places include Kinrara Puchong, Old Klang Road, Sri Petaling, Cheras, Seri Kembangan and Kajang.
