ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with deep functional expertise in Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance (SCF) to lead requirements, solutioning and functional delivery on global product builds and bank implementations. The role sits at the intersection of banking business knowledge and software product engineering: eliciting and shaping requirements, translating complex trade and SCF business processes into product capabilities and configurations, and steering functional delivery from discovery through UAT and go-live. The ideal candidate has built and implemented global trade / SCF products within an IT product or services organisation, and can engage credibly with bank business heads, operations and technology teams alike.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Requirements & functional analysis — lead elicitation, analysis and documentation of business and functional requirements; produce BRDs/FRDs, user stories, process flows, use cases and data mappings for trade and SCF products.

• Domain solutioning — translate documentary trade, guarantees, supply chain finance, factoring, receivables/payables finance, risk participation and syndication processes into product capabilities, configurations and gaps/customisations.

• Product build — work with product management and engineering to define and refine global product features; contribute to product backlog, prioritisation, configurability vs. customisation decisions and roadmap inputs.

• Implementation & rollout — support multi-country, multi-wave bank implementations; lead functional fit-gap, solution design workshops, product walkthroughs and configuration definition across cloud and on-premises deployments.

• Interface & data analysis — define functional requirements for interfaces (e.g. SWIFT, AML/sanctions screening, accounting/GL, limits & collateral, FX), data migration mappings and reconciliation rules.

• Testing & quality — author and review functional test scenarios, support SIT/UAT, triage defects, and own functional sign-off and exit criteria.

• Stakeholder management — facilitate workshops with bank business, operations, compliance and technology stakeholders; manage scope, decisions log, RAID and traceability; present to functional SteerCos.

• Regulatory & compliance alignment — ensure solutions reflect trade-specific regulatory, AML/sanctions, and bank policy requirements; align to standards such as URC, UCP, URDG, ISP and ICC rules where relevant.

• Knowledge leadership — act as functional SME and mentor junior BAs; build reusable functional assets, question banks and accelerators.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• 12–15 years in business analysis with significant depth in Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance.

• Experience within an IT / software organisation building or implementing global trade / SCF products (not solely in-bank operations).

• Proven delivery across the full lifecycle — discovery, requirements, solution design, configuration, UAT and go-live.

• Exposure to both cloud and on-premises product implementations.

This role is in Tax Regulatory Services Team, which executes a suite of processes supporting the bank on fulfilment of due-diligence requirements under Common Reporting Standard (“CRS”) and Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (“FATCA”).

Main Responsibilities
·      Responsible for timely execution and fulfillment BAU processes; Change in Circumstances (“CIC”) FO outreach/monitoring, Relationship Manager Inquiry Exercise (“RMI”), CRS & FATCA Annual Internal Classification, CRS & FATCA Annual Mass Mailing Client Outreach and Discretionary Trust Distribution monitoring processes.
·      Partnership with various stakeholders such as Front Office, Tech team, Scanning and Mailing teams in supporting above-mentioned processes.
·      Accountable to manage and support day-to-day BOSCOS CIC workflow.
·      Co-ordinate with COLM and CA teams to ensure completion of closed account CRS valid self cert and QI DTT update.
·      Plan and execute annual processes runbooks andliaise with stakeholders on exception or changes that may arise to ensurenecessary tasks are well executed.
·      Perform assessment on above-mentioned processes pre-reporting and consolidating requirements to facilitate regulatory obligations.
·      Address queries and feedback from various stakeholders.
·      Assessment and analysis of regulatory changes/new regulatory requirements on operational impact to the processes and its subsequent implementation.
·      Participate in projects that may impact FATCA and CRS reporting which include performing User Acceptance Test (UAT) testing as well as regression system testing requirement.
·      Review existing processes to identify potential area of improvement, process streamlining, risk and deviation to achieve control management and processes standardization.
·      Prepare management information updates to Head of Department on a weekly basis.
·      Other ad hoc requirements.
Work Experience & Education Qualification
·      Preferably university degree in finance or accounting.
·      3 years of experience in banking/financial institution.
·      Experience in FATCA, QI and CRS processes and tax reporting related will be an added advantage.
·      Excellent time management skill and interpersonal skill.
·      Solid problem solving and analytical skills.
·      Exhibit an appreciation of the risk impact of actions undertaken, with a good risk and control perspective.
·      Responsible and takes ownership of assignedtasks. Abides to timeline.
·      Working knowledge of MS Excel will be an addedadvantage.

Job Description

• Manage the Company's IT infrastructure and services, including end-user computing.
• Manage and govern IT infrastructure services provided by outsourcing partners and managed service providers as assigned including contracts and billing matters.
• Responsible for the Company's infrastructure related projects and solutioning such as tech refresh, upgrades, migrations and building new IT Infrastructure capabilities.
• Perform daily BAU tasks such as managing incidents, fulfilment of Service Requests, change requests and application support.
• Work with relevant department(s) and users to lead the IT DR coordination, recovery strategy, planning and execution.
• Assist with IT audit management and matters.
• Ensure delivery and solution comply with internal policies, procedures, standards, and compliance requirements.
• Contribute and document IT Ops procedures and standards as needed in knowledge base.
• System and network patching, capacity and performance management.
• Assess system performance and recommend improvements.
• Ensure data is handled, transferred, or processed according to the Company guidelines and established processes.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Engineering/Business/Finance/Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience of strong hands-on technical experience in IT Infrastructure and IT Operations.
• Good understanding of key technologies adopted such as Microsoft Windows Server, Azure Cloud, End User Computing, Active Directory, Virtualization, Networking, Backup/Recovery and Security tools.
• Work experience in FSI (Banking & Insurance) and knowledge in MAS Technology Risk Management (TRM) would be an advantage.
• Relevant Professional Certifications (e.g. Microsoft, Azure Cloud, Networking, Security) would be advantageous.
• Proficiency in ITIL & ITSM. Some project management experience would be beneficial.
• Strong experience in managing internal stakeholders, end users and vendors.
• Good teamwork, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
