We are seeking a Wholesale Banking Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong industry consulting experience to help define data-driven business use cases and guide the development of analytics and reporting solutions.

The consultant will work closely with internal teams to review existing enterprise data assets, identify high-impact use cases, and provide strategic direction on the appropriate technology stack to enable measurable business outcomes.

This engagement will focus on establishing clear KPIs, measurable business value, and a pipeline of use cases that can drive revenue growth, cost optimization, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation.

Business & Industry Advisory

• Assess existing enterprise data landscape within wholesale banking operations.
• Identify high-value business use cases based on industry best practices and global banking experience.
• Translate business challenges into analytics and reporting opportunities.

Data & Analytics Strategy

• Evaluate available datasets and determine analytical opportunities.
• Define use cases for reporting, dashboards, and advanced analytics.
• Recommend appropriate technology architecture and reporting stack.

Solution Direction & Mentoring

• Provide strategic guidance to internal delivery teams.
• Mentor and direct teams on how to operationalize use cases.
• Ensure solutions are aligned with business outcomes and measurable KPIs.

• Cycle time improvement

Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining the entire DevOps pipelines.

• Coordinate with the stakeholders from requirements gathering until successful implementation DevOps pipeline on boarding.

• Support developers in preparation of JIRA deployment tickets as part of change management

• Work with the vendors and for internal platforms to setup centralized DevOps solutions considering market best practice, Industry standard and ease of support.

• Work with the vendors and for internal platforms to upgrade the DevOps tools farm and integrating with tools.

• Lead analysis and resolution of root cause for Test Orchestration / Environment related issues

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills; writing, publishing and conference-level presentation skills

• Stays current with industry trends and leads development of key DevOps, Runtime, and Operational innovation platforms.

Requirements:

• Deep technical background, with hands-on experience in supporting CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, Veracode for SAST, JIRA and Confluence).

• Hands on experience building CI/CD pipelines orchestration by Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or similar tools is a must-have.

• Must have experience in containerizing applications and have hands-on with building pods / containers in Kubernetes

• Good Experience on OpenShift or AWS

• Prior technical background on different build and branching strategies.

• Deep technical background on Kubernetes deployment process.

• Good knowledge on maintaining/deploying secrets in Kubernetes.

• Prior working experience in setting up Jira workflow.

• Strong hands-on experience on Shell or Groovy scripting.

• Prior experience is customizing JIRA and Setting up confluence spaces.

• Prior hand-on experience in setting up CI/CD pipeline as a centralized solution.

• Hand on experience in setting up DevOps governance, Security standards and audit requirements.

• Prior experience in setting up DevOps pipeline in internal and external cloud offerings.

• Experience with continuous testing, techniques and tools (Junit, Sonar Cube, Veracode etc.)

• Technical exposure of automation accomplished with advanced Python, Chef, Ruby and PowerShell

• Experience in managing hybrid cloud/on-prem environments.

• Familiarity with observability platforms and incident response workflows.

• Working knowledge of AI / Machine Learning applications will be an advantage.

• Working knowledge of Big Data environment like Hadoop, Cloudera and ElasticSearch.

Job Summary: We are looking for a highly capable and experienced System Analyst with deep domain expertise in Group Wholesale Banking (Financing Solutions, Trade Services, Cash & Liquidity Management and Treasury), including Retail and Global Markets products. The ideal candidate will serve as a techno-functional leader in the Data Domain, driving strategic alignment, solution relevance, and business-technology integration.

Understanding the business context of Wholesale Banking is essential to:

• Design and deliver data solutions aligned with business priorities

• Translate complex banking requirements into scalable data architectures

• Strengthen collaboration with business stakeholders and product teams

• Drive innovation and value creation through data-driven insights

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and decompose requirements across Wholesale Banking, Retail, and Global Markets domains

• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for data solutions

• Design and validate data models including Teradata FSDM, Dimensional Models, and Reporting Tables

• Perform data profiling and write query scripts for analysis and testing

• Map data attributes from key product systems such as:

• Silver Lake Core Banking

• FITAS Trade Finance

• Murex - Treasury

• SAP GL

• Author detailed documentation including Functional Specifications, Solution Designs, and Training Manuals

• Develop and execute test strategies and scripts for data validation and solution integrity

• Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and business teams to ensure solution alignment and delivery

• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Functional BA and/or System Analyst in the banking domain, preferably within Wholesale Banking

• Strong techno-functional expertise in data architecture and business analysis

• Deep understanding of Wholesale Banking products and services

• Functional domain knowledge on Regulatory Compliance Framework, AML/CFT/Sanctions, Fraud Risk Management and Compliance in Business Operations

• Proficient in data profiling, SQL scripting, and data validation techniques

• Expertise in designing and implementing data models for enterprise-scale solutions

• Familiarity with core banking and financial systems listed above

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage large volumes of information

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in data governance, data quality, and metadata management

• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in banking

• Exposure to Agile methodologies and enterprise data platforms

• Certifications in Business Analysis, Data Management, or related fields (e.g., CBAP, DAMA)
