We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially aware Costing Assistant / Executive to support the preparation of accurate cost estimates and project budgets for design & build projects. This role bridges design intent with financial feasibility, ensuring competitive and realistic pricing while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions for projects

• Source and obtain quotations from suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors

• Analyse and compare quotations to ensure cost efficiency and compliance with project requirements

• Collaborate with creative, procurement, sales and project management teams to align costing with project scope

• Assist in contract administration and variation costing when required

• Leverage AI tools and digital technologies to support costing activities and improve accuracy

Requirements

• 1–2 years of relevant experience

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic costing/estimation software

• Proficiency or familiarity in using AI tools and digital technologies for productivity, data analysis, or work support

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Good communication and coordination skills
