Job Summary

Support project management by coordinating and supervising construction site operations to ensure timely, quality, and safe project delivery in compliance with Singapore regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects to meet schedule and quality standards
• Manage and supervise daily site operations to ensure work progresses according to approved specifications and timelines
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to maintain smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks
• Monitor project progress, manpower deployment, and material usage to optimize resource allocation
• Ensure all construction activities comply with project requirements, drawings, and quality standards
• Enforce workplace safety and health practices aligned with Singapore regulations to maintain a safe site environment
• Conduct regular site inspections and promptly resolve technical and operational issues to minimize delays
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including method statements, progress reports, and updates for stakeholders
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities to address technical and coordination matters effectively

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Knowledge of local authority requirements and safety regulations in Singapore
• Familiarity with submissions to authorities such as BCA and MOM
• At least 1–2 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry, preferably with a main contractor
• Experience in construction site management, coordination, and supervision
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced site environment

Lead and supervise site engineers, supervisors, and foremen to ensure construction activities meet safety and quality standards. Manage resources, schedules, and subcontractors to deliver projects efficiently and resolve technical challenges on site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise site engineers, supervisors, and foremen to ensure compliance with project requirements and safety regulations
• Review and prepare detailed method statements and work instructions to guide construction activities
• Control and manage site resources including progress tracking, manpower mobilization, and equipment deployment
• Execute construction works according to drawings and specifications to meet quality standards
• Plan construction schedules and coordinate subcontractors to maintain smooth workflow
• Conduct regular site inspections and assess subcontractors’ work performance for quality assurance
• Identify, manage, and resolve technical issues arising during construction to minimize delays

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret construction and shop drawings with detailed understanding
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 clauses and audit procedures to support quality management
• Minimum 5 years of relevant construction experience

Responsibilities

• Assist the project manager in coordinating on-site and off-site meetings to resolve technical issues effectively
• Submit architectural samples, shop drawings, and related documents to consultants or authorities to ensure compliance
• Coordinate and monitor site work progress through periodic inspections and project meetings
• Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate project execution
• Develop procedures, detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications to support project requirements
• Plan monthly work schedules and set productivity targets to meet project timelines
• Conduct Material Take Off (MTO) and manage List of Materials (LOM) to track project progress and resource usage
• Verify technical specifications for adequacy to ensure compliance with project standards
• Identify product quality issues, document them, and implement corrective solutions to maintain quality standards

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret construction and shop drawings accurately

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience
• Understanding of ISO 9001 clauses and audit procedures is an added advantage
