Role Overview

As our Data Engineer, you will own the lifeblood of our legal AI platform — the data pipeline that keeps our knowledge graph accurate and current. You will build CDC (Change Data Capture) pipelines to synchronize our Neo4j knowledge graph with Singapore’s official legal publications, implement data quality validation frameworks, and ensure version control across statutory amendments. When a new Gazette is published, your pipeline is what makes our AI know about it within days — not months.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement CDC pipelines to capture incremental changes from Singapore Gazette, AGC consolidated statutes, and other authoritative legal sources

• Build automated data ingestion workflows: scraping, parsing, structural analysis of legal documents (Act → Part → Division → Section → Subsection)

• Implement temporal metadata extraction: effective dates, repeal dates, amendment lineage, and version tracking for every statutory provision

• Develop data quality validation framework: automated checks for temporal conflicts, missing citations, entity mismatches, and cross-jurisdiction inconsistencies

• Manage Neo4j graph data loading and incremental updates — updating specific nodes without full graph rebuilds

• Build monitoring dashboards for data pipeline health: ingestion latency, error rates, coverage metrics

• Implement data versioning and rollback capabilities for audit compliance

• Collaborate with Backend Engineer on ETL-to-KAG integration and with QA on data accuracy validation

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in data engineering, ETL development, or data pipeline architecture

• Proficiency in Python and/or Go for data processing scripts and pipeline orchestration

• Experience with graph databases (Neo4j preferred) or relational databases (PostgreSQL)

• Hands-on experience with CDC tools or patterns (Debezium, Kafka Connect, or custom CDC)

• Understanding of data quality frameworks and validation methodologies

• Familiarity with AWS data services (S3, Glue, Lambda, or Step Functions)

• Proficiency in English; Mandarin is a strong plus

Role Overview

As our Backend/Platform Engineer, you will be the core builder of our KAG engine and data infrastructure. You will design and implement the Go-based microservices that power our legal reasoning pipeline, build CDC connectors to keep our knowledge graph in sync with Singapore statutes, and ensure our platform achieves <2s p95 latency at enterprise scale. You will have direct influence over architecture decisions and technical direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement KAG core services in Go (Gin framework), including dual-channel fusion engine (symbolic graph query + neural embedding), with PostgreSQL as the primary relational data store

• Build and optimize Neo4j knowledge graph schema — 1,500+ legal entities with temporal validity, cross-references, and amendment lineage tracking

• Develop the Legal ETL pipeline: ingest Singapore Gazettes, parse statutory hierarchy (Act → Part → Section), tag effective/repeal dates

• Implement CDC-driven incremental synchronization for real-time statutory updates (target: T+1 to T+3 days)

• Build the Consistency Validator engine — a deterministic post-generation checker for entity existence, relation validity, temporal validity, and citation format

• Design and implement RESTful and streaming (SSE) APIs for frontend consumption

• Manage Redis integration for token storage, session caching, and query result caching to achieve <2s p95 latency

• Configure and maintain RabbitMQ task queues for asynchronous pipeline processing, CDC event distribution, and inter-service communication

• Optimize query performance: parallel symbolic + vector search using errgroup, Redis caching, and PostgreSQL query tuning

• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests; maintain >80% code coverage

Requirements

• 3+ years backend development experience in Go (strongly preferred) or Rust/Java

• Hands-on experience with Neo4j or other graph databases (Cypher fluency preferred)

• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes

• Experience with RabbitMQ or similar message queues and CDC patterns

• Strong experience with PostgreSQL (schema design, query optimization, migrations)

• Familiarity with Redis (caching strategies, token management) and RabbitMQ (task queue patterns)

• Familiarity with AWS services (EKS, RDS, S3, KMS)

• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design

Role Overview

As our Frontend Engineer, you will build the enterprise-grade user interface that brings our legal AI to life. You will develop the interactive legal research dashboard, the citation trace viewer (showing the complete evidence chain from AI answer back to original statute), real-time streaming chat interface, and a multilingual (EN/ZH/MS/TA) i18n framework. You will work directly with our CTO and pilot partners to design intuitive workflows for legal professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Build production-grade React 18 frontend using TypeScript, TailwindCSS, and React Query for server state management

• Develop the interactive KAG exploration interface: legal knowledge graph visualization, entity relationship browsing, temporal version comparison

• Implement the citation trace viewer: clickable source chains from AI response → citation → KAG entity → original Gazette source

• Build real-time streaming chat interface with SSE for progressive AI answer rendering

• Implement internationalization (i18n) using i18next for English, Mandarin, Malay, and Tamil
