JOB GOAL: The Learning Support Teacher provides quality instruction and support to identified students. Student support is provided through consultation with teachers to recommend specific strategies and accommodations (Level 1 support), classroom push-in/co-teaching with homeroom teacher (Level 2 support), and more intensive one-on-one support for students with higher support needs (Level 3 support). What we are looking for:    

• Formal education in engineering, technical studies, or relevant products/services
• 4–5 years of technical experience in the maritime industry, preferably with onboard vessel experience
• Minimum 2 years of direct sales experience
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities
• Self-driven, outgoing, and initiative-oriented personality
• Proven team player who is open to new ideas and ways of working
• Ambitious and motivated to grow both the business and your own career

Job Responsibilities

• Provide fast, skillful and accurate blood collection for patients using venipuncture, capillary and heel-prick
• Perform phlebotomy, ECG, spirometry in an accurate, efficient and professional way
• Ensure work area is clean and tidy. Ensure compliance with infection control guidelines
• Ensure 2 identifier is performed for every patient prior to collection before performing test for patients
• Ensure proper documentation for traceability and in adherence to good documentation practices.
• Ensure compliance to workplace safety, hand hygiene and other applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements of the laboratory.
• Provide prompt and courteous service to all external and internal clients (patients, doctors, vendors) over the counter or on the phone

Required Skills and Experience

• Recognised N/O Level/ITE Certificate/Diploma in Biomedical Sciences, Nursing, Health Sciences or a Certificate in phlebotomy
• Experienced in performing phlebotomy in a fast-paced environment (at least 2-5 years)
