Job: Production Support Analyst

Duration: 12 months (extendable)

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate production issues, respond based on production defect severity SLAs.

• Manage and respond to users on timely manner.

• Log incident ticket for production issues and user queries

• Follow up on defect and incident closure and meet incident closure KPI.

• Make sure system availability as per respective agreed SLA.

• Ensure daily start of day (SOD) and end of day (EOD) execution for supported applications complete successfully.

• Provide support for annual Disaster Recovery (DR) exercise for supported applications.

• Provide support to System Engineers on server level patches / upgrade as and when applicable.

• Knowledge with 3rd party monitoring tools like Control-M, Genos, Splunk, SQL Monitor

• Knowledge with Market Data, and Genos monitoring setup and dashboard configuration

• Ensure application incident & task documentation is properly updated for each production release.

• Proven ability to work and resolve production incidents under strict time constraints and provide workarounds using AS400/mainframe or Unix shell or DB scripts etc.

• Strong skills in AS400, Linux/Unix Shell scripting, MS SQL, Oracle, BMC Control-M Scheduler

Good to have understanding and experience of ITIL methodology [service operation]

Key Requirements:

• Prior hand-on production support experience of OPEN Systems/AS400

• Good support knowledge in either one of the retail or wholesale payment or customer information systems

• Willing to work in onsite shift-support model [24*7]

• Hands-on experience in writing AS400 and SQL queries and parsing logs for issue investigation

• Hands-on experience in writing shell scripts (UNIX) and optimize incidents investigation.

• 2 or more years’ production support experience in bank or financial vendors across multiple technologies / platform

• Be able to work in fast pace and high-pressure working environment.

Willingness to work across platforms – UNIX / open, AS/400 and mainframe

Role: Private Banking Batch Support
Duration: 12 months
Location: Singapore

Years of experience required: 10 years

Responsibilities:

• Manage PB batch jobs, including new job setup, scheduling, execution, and monitoring across the project lifecycle from Development and SIT through UAT environments.
• Monitor batch jobs and provide operational support for issues such as job failures, overruns, or missed executions; document incidents in JIRA and collaborate with developers to investigate and resolve root causes.
• Prepare detailed batch execution and run-status reports to support testing, validation, and management reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain batch execution Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support a smooth and compliant production handover.

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 10 years’ relevant experience preferably in a Finance Institution.

Essential:

• You must develop solid understanding of PB system flow and dependencies to effectively support batch scheduling, execution and monitoring.
• You are expected to produce clear and comprehensive documentation and ensure proper knowledge transfer to the production support team following project cutover.
• You are expected to collaborate closely with developers, system analysts and architects to design and implement technical solutions that are fit for purpose for the PB system, while meeting all security, regulatory, and architectural standards.
• You are expected to work on shift schedules, including overnight shifts to support EOD batch execution for PB projects.
• You are expected to strictly adhere to UOB standards, policies, and procedures in all deliverables and activities, with no deviations.

Key Domain / Technical Skills (Indicate up to 3 areas):

• Temenos Wealthsuite Front Office / Triple’A Plus
• Red Hat Linux, AIX, Shell scripting
• Oracle, Sybase, SQL
• Control-M
• JIRA, Confluence, Remedy

Key Technical Skills / Experience

· Semiconductor‑related experience, particularly in front‑end processes, is preferred.
