Round-the-clock monitoring and maintenance of the System (hardware and software) to ensure system uptime in accordance to SLA commitments

Respond to all incident / service calls and be first responder onsite to troubleshoot and resolve incidents including basic repairs or parts replacements

Create / update and track ticket in ticketing tool to closure observing SLA commitments

Escalate, when necessary, in accordance to escalation matrix

Perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting system hardware and all computer-based systems.

Coordinate and work with third-party suppliers or other contractors to identify the causes of issues e.g. hardware, software, network problems and etc. that may affect the proper functioning of the System.

Liaise and work closely with customers to address service concerns and to solve technical problems.

Work with technical team to resolve more advanced issues when necessary

Perform Install / Move / Add / Change (IMAC) activities as tasked

Ensure all material is properly documented and handed over during shift changes

Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned

Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile

Job Requirements

Higher NITEC in Electrical, Electronics, IT or equivalent

Relevant experience in IT system support and hardware maintenance

Experience in electrical/mechanical drawing, service/repair manuals and or diagrams will be added advantage

Basic knowledge in Networking and Database management will be added advantage

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Self-starter, self-motivated and critical thinker who embraces challenges

Ability to work responsibly, independently and in a team

Able to interact with all levels of people and work under stress

Rotating 12 hours shift or as assigned.

Shift pattern: 3 Days work shift followed by 2 days’ rest, 2 Days work shift followed by 3 days’ rest

2 Months Day shift, followed by 2 months night shift

Ability to travel to other sites during shift may be required

Requirements:

• Diploma or Higher NITEC in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in system monitoring, operations support, or a similar environment.
• Experience in a monitoring center or operations support role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of networking and database management is advantageous.
• Exposure to electrical/mechanical drawings, service manuals, or technical documentation is an added advantage.
• Airport operations experience will be an advantage.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as within a team.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and interact with stakeholders at all levels

Fixed Basic Monthly Salary: $3,200 to $3,700 per month maximum & offer will be made depending on the skills & experience level

Service Desk Engineer L2:     

Roles and Responsibilities:   

Provides 24x7 Service Desk support as defined by first response/Tier 2 support. Provides phone, e-mail. First point of contact for troubleshooting all IT related problems, including hardware/software, passwords, and printer problems. Be required to perform 24 X 7 shift work in support of operational IT related mission/after duty hours on call/emergency requirements. Flexible to work in shifts.

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Excellent communication skills and telephone manner. (Interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills) 2-3 years previous IT Service Desk and/or Call Centre experience required. Managing incidents including business expectations and communication. Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows and Office Responsible for monitoring, operating, managing, troubleshooting and restoring to service any terminal service client, personal computers (PC) that has authorized access to the network. When the restoration is beyond the scope of the Service Desk Agent, he/she will escalate the issue/problem to proper tier 2 and 3 support team members. Develop trends by monitoring and analyzing incoming calls, problems and support requests. Perform post-resolution follow ups to help requests. Reinforce SLAs to manage end-user expectations. ITIL Knowledge will be a plus.

- Mobility Support Must have Talent / Skills: Good communication and excellent interpersonal skills, Proficient Desktop/Accessories skillset. 

 Incident management, Reporting and Documentation. Must be comfortable working with Android phones.  

Knowledge of MDM is a plus Good to have skill : MDM (AirWatch)

Good to have Talent / Skills: ITIL Process Knowledge Industry
