As Mentor, After-School Services, you are responsible for inspiring and helping children develop their social-emotional skills. You journey with children as they journey to discover themselves. You help them become the best person they can possibly be. This is achieved by providing a safe and secure environment for children to be at. Children will trust and respect you because you are an excellent role model.
The Mentor, After-School Services would be a person-centric individual with a growth mindset, be interested in the development of Self and the development of others, especially children.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise primary school children enrolled at one of our student care centres.
- Assist in the coordination, development and implementation of learning activities and enrichment programmes
- Impart good habits and social skills amongst the children
- Coach children using positive discipline methods
- Willing and able to be deployed to different centres to provide coverage of duties
Job Requirements
- At least GCE 'A' Level / Diploma
- Preferably with some Childcare / Student Care / Montessori / Phonetics experience in Singapore.
- Personable with good communication skills and able to build rapport with children.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Full time, part time, short term contract positions available.
