CDAC centres are strategically located island-wide to better serve students, workers

and families. We aim to provide its services and programmes to the community near

to their homes.

Reporting to the team supervisor, the job scope is as follows:

• Open and closing of centre

• Performing counter duties and answering of enquiries

• Assisting clients with registration of programmes and application for assistance schemes

• Performing administrative and clerical duties such as collection of programme fees, data entry, centre maintenance and general housekeeping

• Promoting CDAC programmes and recruiting participants

• Preparing rooms and materials for centre activities

• Following up with attendance for centre activities and calling of absentees

• Preparing incident reports where applicable

• Handling walk-in donations

• Covering duties when necessary

• Any other ad hoc duties

This position is for a 28-hour work week, including weekends.

Working Hours

January to October:

• Monday (Alternate shifts):
  12:15 PM – 5:00 PM or 4:45 PM – 9:30 PM
• Wednesday:
  12:15 PM – 9:30 PM
• Friday:
  12:15 PM – 9:30 PM
• Saturday or Sunday (Alternate):
  9:45 AM – 5:00 PM

November to December:

• Monday (Alternate shifts):
  9:45 AM – 2:30 PM or 2:15 PM – 7:00 PM
• Wednesday:
  9:45 AM – 7:00 PM
• Friday:
  9:45 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday or Sunday (Alternate):
  9:45 AM – 5:00 PM

Technical Skills:

1. Proficient in serving English and Mandarin-speaking clients.

Job Description:

a) Volunteers Management

· Serve as the department representative in the Volunteer Development Committee and contribute to cross-department volunteer policies formulation and implementation

· Manage volunteer recruitment, screening, orientation and deployment across programmes and events.

· Organize and coordinate volunteer training, bonding activities and events

· Maintain volunteer database system and perform general administrative duties.

b) Stakeholders Management

· Engage and collaborate with internal teams, partners and vendors to support programme needs and volunteer engagement

Requirements

· Diploma/Degree, preferably in Community Development, Social Sciences, Human Resource or related field

· Has passion to work with volunteers

· Good interpersonal and communication skills, with a service-oriented attitude

· Strong organizing skills with the ability to work in teams and independently

· Self‑motivated, adaptable, and team‑oriented.
