• To assist the Project Manager in project planning, coordination works of all architectural trades, finishes and interfacing with M&E and Structural detail.

Job Responsibilities:
• Perform measurements and prepare Bills of Quantities;
• Obtained quotations and put up recommendation for Executive Director’s approval;
• Prepare the sub-contract/purchasing document for review & approval by Executive Director;
• Authorised to make amendments to purchasing document;
• Prepare and submit monthly progress claim to Architect/Client;
• Compute variation order claim and prepare the final accounts for settlement with client/consultant;

The Quantity Surveyor manages and prepares all the cost estimates for our construction projects. This includes but is not limited to initial calculations to the final accounts to help in bidding and determining the price of the service.

The QS seek to minimise costs while adhering to the required standards and policies. He/She also keeps track of the progression of the contract with regards to any variations.

Good communication and negotiation skills are needed for discussion with stakeholders. He/She is responsible for enhancing the overall value of the project while keeping to the standards and policies.

He/She is office-based and will go on several site visits from the tender stage to completion.

Our office working hours are 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. He/She may be required to address issues on Saturday as it is a working day for the construction team.
