1. Prepare mechanical drawings using CAD/BIM software such as AutoCAD, Revit for drafting and coordination.
2. Produce HVAC, piping, plumbing, and mechanical system layouts based on engineering design.
3. Assist engineers in preparing technical drawings, sections, details and schematics.
4. Update and revise drawings according to site conditions, design changes and client requirements.
5. Maintain drawing revisions, documentation control, and project records.
6. Support project teams during construction, installation, and inspection stages.
7. Provide support in tender drawings, design documentation, and technical proposals.
8. Manage documentation archiving, file naming conventions and cloud drive.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• 2-5 years of experience as a Drafter in the construction industry with mechanical based.
• Strong technical drawing and design skills, with ability to interpret blueprint.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Taking off quantity from drawings
• Involve in calculation of project costings and computation of Bill of Quantity
• Involve in calculating the cost of construction for project tender (pre-contract) based on tender drawings and documents
• Able to conduct site valuation and measurement
• Involve in enquiries for quotations from sub-contractors, suppliers & comparison schedule
• Prepare monthly progress claim, certification of subcontractor’s payment, Variation Order’s evaluation and final account
• To render support to the superior and be a team player
• Perform other duties as and when required

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess Diploma/ Certificate in Building or Quantity Surveyor    .
• Full-Time position(s) available.
• Good interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, able to interact with consultants, project team, contractors and suppliers
• Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese
• Fresh graduates and practical training students are encouraged to apply
• Computer literate is essential.

• Perform quantity take-off (QTO) for all relevant project scopes.
• Prepare bill of quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates.
