Beyond content creation, your responsibilities will encompass data gathering, information processing, and detailed market analysis. You will be a key asset, providing crucial research support to our market intelligence division and pivotal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Produce and deliver analytical reports on the real estate market, alongside pieces of content and presentation slides covering market trends, property specifics, investment tactics, and home buying/selling insights.
• Conduct and develop in-depth research content on Singapore’s real estate sector, with a key focus on the residential and commercial sectors
• Identify economic patterns and property cycles, and develop compelling content on finance, mortgage, interest rates, and related real estate industry subjects.
• To keep abreast of economic news, indicators, and policies, and analyze the impact on supply and demand dynamics
• Assist in liaising with media correspondents and prepare commentaries to be broadcasted on selected news outlet
• Collaborating with the creative team to vet and select suitable images and visuals to enhance the written content.
• Collaborating with other team members and subject matter experts, to ensure the quality and accuracy of the content produced.
• Ad hoc writing assignments covering newly released real estate policies or regulatory changes, ensuring accurate and timely coverage.
• Maintain a large database for research publications and work input
• Prepare presentation decks for the upper management levels
• Provide critical analysis of the latest news, press releases, or announcements that may affect the property sector

Requirements

• A diploma or degree in Real Estate, Economics, or a related field is preferred
• Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for content creation, collaboration, and research.
• In-depth knowledge of real estate industry trends, market dynamics, and related topics.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
• Possess knowledge in real estate economics and valuation
• Fluency in oral and written English is essential
• Highly motivated individual with keen attention in detail
• A good team player and is able to work independently with limited supervision

We are seeking a Survey Designer to support an innovative, AI-driven data collection initiative with a government agency. In this role, you will help develop and enhance an intelligent conversation-based survey system designed to improve how data is collected and processed.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop an AI-powered conversational bot capable of conducting personalised, text-based interviews for data collection
• Integrate the bot with government databases to enable tailored interactions based on individual profiles and responses
• Design, implement, and refine Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML) models to improve the bot’s understanding, response accuracy, and overall performance
• Research and apply data imputation methodologies to improve the quality, completeness, and reliability of survey data
• Continuously enhance survey logic and user interaction flow to ensure a seamless respondent experience

Requirements

• Experience or strong interest in data science, AI, NLP, or survey methodology
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and data processing techniques
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with structured and unstructured data
• Experience in survey design or government/statistical projects is an advantage

What is the job about?

Drive data-backed insights and provide strategic analytical tools to power EdgeProp’s cutting-edge research and content. The role offers close collaboration with research data and key partners across the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, interpret, and present real estate trends and information for business development opportunities, client support, and internal analysis
• Compile and distribute research in the form of narratives, graphics, data summary, etc
• Analyze market statistic, generate market reports and/or collateral material based on statistical analysis conducted
• Tap into national research resources to produce standardized market reports and customized client research
• Create and analyze spreadsheets utilizing data needed to generate graphs, tables, and written analysis and make recommendations to our readers and users
• Compile statistical data specific to client or service line by translating and converting data to graphs/tables/charts
• Research coverage areas will include Singapore and other South East Asia asset classes such as residential, commercial, residential and industrial

Requirements:

• A degree in a relevant area such as Real Estate, Economics, or Business Administration would be an advantage
• 3-5 years of real estate research or related business experience
• High numeracy and adequate understanding of property and financial markets
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong data software applications skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Effective interpersonal and leadership skills, and a conscientious, creative and enthusiastic character
